Good infrastructure. High class lecture threats and class rooms
Entrance Preview :
AIEEE Chose this over ece from COER Roorkee. Normal selection process using AIEEE ranking No interview was taken that time. Counseling was done at juit solan campus but now I guess it will be done in Guna itself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum was good. Most of the things were covered and in a very sequential way. Every subject was of international level. Course was designed in such a way that will help an individual either to choose further studies or jobs, in both situations course was helpful.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities were good that time when I passed out. We got placed easily. But if we talk about compensation we got from companies, that is not up-to the expectation. Actually it's below average if we talk about package we had been offered. More count of companies came for computer field followed by electronics then civil and chemical streams.
College Events :
Freshers party at the beginning. College frat at the end of EVERY very year. Musical night frequently. Sports fest once a year.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Expensive fee structure. Almost 2 lakhs per year is required which includes tuition fee, hostel fee including internet, laundry and food mess services.
Campus Life :
Campus life was great but nothing outside the campus as it was in remote location. It's a good thing in one way as ever student had interaction with there college mate regularly. Gender ratio was like 2:1 for male to female. Many extracurricular activities option was there from dancing singing fashion show to robotics debates and many other streams specific events
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities were great. At my time it was 3 sharing a room and room was designed accordingly for 3. Mess food was average and sometimes worse. Unlimited food. Internet was provided through WiFi in all hostel buildings. Laundry service was included.
Alumni/Alumna :
Below average if we talk about alumni network I personally had no interaction with anyone who passed out from my college before I joined.
Exam Structure :
Every semester we had 3 exams (T1,T2,T3) which cumulatively gives our final score for whole semester. No final exams kind of thing. 25% came from faculty on the basis of attendance and other things from lectures and tuts. Attendance played a big role to avoid failing in any subject.
Admission :
On the basis of ranking in AIEEE available slots were given to a candidate. Everything was computerized in which our ranking and preferences were entered. Process was smooth and fast. Once I got the stream as per my preference and availablility , I've been asked to deposit the remaining amount at Guna campus after few days and on that same week course commenced.
Faculty :
Faculty was good and of new generation. They had been using new technologies for giving lectures and knowledge.
