Dislikes
- Maximum of the rooms in the hostel are 4 seater
- The college lies outside the city(nearly 25-30 kms). However, there is a market but you need to walk for around 2 kms for the main road.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose ECE because ECE is a field that combines electrical engineering and computer science, offering a wide range of opportunities in both industries. Also, ECE graduates can work in areas such as telecommunication, computer hardware and software development too. Well, faculties are still being hired as the strength of the college is increasing. You can visit the website to know everything about the professor, their degree, their research programs, their published books etc. Well, talking about years, then in the first year, it's difficult to score a good SGPA because the subjects are quite tough and you'll face some difficulties in them. In the second year, you can score an SGPA if you give some effort also.
Internships Opportunities :
A few companies that offer internships are IBM, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Deloitte, Adobe, TCS, etc. You get all the details related to internships, placements, companies visit on the website of iiitn itself.
Placement Experience :
A few Companies that visited are: Amazon, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Samsung etc. 85 %(ECE) and 97%(CSE) of students were placed with the highest package 40 lakhs and average of 12 lakhs LPA. This average package increased from 8 lakhs in 2021 to 12 lakhs in 2022.
Fees and Financial Aid :
When I joined the college the fees of the college for the first year were 225000 but in my second year itself, the fees were reduced to 205200. The fees for the next batch have also been increased. There are various scholarships that are given by the state quota. However, for some states like UP, there is hardly any scholarship.
Campus Life :
There are two fests taken: Abhivyakti and Tantrafiesta. Abhivyakti(annual fest) happens in Feb-Mar whereas, Tantrafiesta happens nearly in Oct. You can get books from the library which are essential for your syllabus and can be issued for 15 days. There are various sports competitions in which our college participates actively and also there are a few clubs which provide other extra curricular activities. A few clubs are Orator, Skills Nights, drama clubs etc.
Hostel Facilities :
You'll get a bed, a table, chair and a cubboard which is divided between 4 people for 4 seaters. Meal qualities is fair enough, sometimes not good enough. You'll get a good meal in the morning along with fruits, milk, chai etc. Non-veg is strictly not allowed in the mess section. For Hostel, you can talk to the Warden of the college.
Admission :
I gave JEE Mains exam, and my score was 95.8 percentile. I got ECE(Electronics and Communication Engineering) branch in this college. In the admission process, you need to bring a few documents. You can about that all from the faculty by calling them. You can get their numbers on the main website
