Remarks :

Eligibility for admission in BSc statistics at Ravenshaw University is depending upon your 12th mark & percentage. This year cutoff for statistics was 89% for general. As it is a government college all addmission process was made online through SAMS website. Through SAMS you can apply for the application to get admission in various of colleges in Odisha. The only improvement needed in the admission process is that they update us on the timetable, events, last date of application, etc. regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I want to be a data scientist in the statistics field so I've to complete MSc. in statistics. The total seats in statistics are 24 which there are 20 students taken admission to our department. All the faculty members are highly educated from top universities and all they have a master's or Ph.D. or professor's degree. Some of them are gold medalists in statistics and now doing research in that field as well as writing books on statistics. The exams are similar to other universities' exams like 6 semesters in 3 years for a bachelor's degree. They conduct 2 semesters in 1 year with 6 months gap each.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 2450 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

As it is a government college there are only admission fees ie. 2450/- and no other course fees there yes there are various scholarships in Odisha depending upon your merits. And about campus, there are a few companies visiting for bachelor's degrees but I suggest doing a master's degree so that your career will be bright in statistics.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of fests, cultural programs, and functions conducted every couple of months. Campus Life was good as there are various sports, gym, TEDx, etc and A big library and e-library where a lot of various kinds of books available on different subjects.

There is a no such campus placements in our college. But you surely get the prepare about some of the other government examinations. But some cell financing courses like in the ITM and MCAd department they have tie up with some big companies so the student may get packages of to 10 LPA year.

3 years of greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for medical exams but I couldnt get through so I joined in zoology but I dont regret it now. The course curriculum was really good and helpful as it taught alot which I have applied in my PhD career as I have learned alot of techniques from the University.
