Remarks :
The process was online. The website for the admission process is josaa.nic.in and iiitn.ac.in. As of now, the admission procedure doesn't have any flaws yet it can be more transparent via helpline numbers. Also a tutorial for the same.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The basic purpose to choose ECE was to focus on Jobs in IT Sector as coding is a part and parcel of life. No exact ratio for faculty vs students. Faculties are highly qualified with quality content teaching. Exams are held biweekly.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies are mostly IT Sector-based and are likely to provide jobs like SDE1 Intern with a stipend of around 60-80K. Projects are in collaboration with the faculties and they have an outcome based on real-life problems.
Placement Experience :
After the 6th Semester placement officially starts. As of now, roughly around 50 companies have visited. The package details will be shared soon on the website. Pursuing a Master's after Corporate Experience is my focus.
Fees and Financial Aid :
As there is a PPP Model for the newly established IIITs the fees are likely to be on the higher side than any other National Level Govt. colleges. There are many scholarships provided by the respective State Governments based on financial conditions.
Campus Life :
Annual Techfest is known as TantraFiesta (organized in October), and Annual Cultural Fest is Abhivyakti (organized in March). The classrooms have a proper ambiance with well-equipped libraries. Sports is currently lagging but in the next 3 months, it will be in a better position.
Hostel Facilities :
Rooms are either Double Seater or Four Seater. Mess Food is okayish. The registration process is solely based on a first come first serve basis. Hostels are slightly on the higher side in terms of affordability. PGs are affordable and nearby.
