Remarks :

The college takes admission based on Jee's main rank as it comes under Jossa counseling. The forms of these will be out on the Jossa website once the jee mains and advance are over and counseling starts. I am from the Gen-Ews category. So I got CSE at 13k rank outside the state.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because of my interest and because of the good placements in the course. Faculties are good and cooperative. We have 2 exams per semester -one midterm and one end. The ratio between boys and girls is 1:12. The campus is quite good and the college has completed 100 years in 2021 only so it got a good reputation also

Class Size : 130Course Fees : INR 172000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are very good in the college. Companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan came for the internship for the roles of software developer, finance, etc. Microsoft giving intern of 1.25lacs per month for 2 months.

Placement Experience :

Placement and internship opportunities are quite very good. The main reason behind choosing this college is the placement stats only. Last year around 90% got internship opportunities and around 95-96% got placed from cse With an average package of 17lacs. Many big companies came for placement including Microsoft, Apple, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, and Uber.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Talking about the fee It's 86000 per sem With a hostel fee of 69000 annually With 3500-4000 mess fee for the month Some scholarships can be availed based on financial status. Campus placements and internship opportunities are very good. Last year about 90% got internship opportunities from the CSE branch and 95-96% got placed. With an average package of 17lacs

Campus Life :

The life at the campus I'd average I would say. Sports facilities are not that good with less no ground for each sport. Clubs and societies are active with various events going on campus over some time. Hostel facilities are not that good. You will get a shared room with a bed and shared wardrobe with no facilities of collet or ac.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is not quite good. You will be given a shared room with one bed and a shared wardrobe. The space in the room is very less. The washrooms are not that good. They remain dirty most time. The food at the hostel mess is also quite average. All food tastes the same, eventually, you will get bored of the food.

Hostel Fee : INR 69000 per year

Chandigarh University Adventure

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure was very good according to me as they gave extra classes for the placements like soft skill classes and aptitude classes every week which helped me very much to express myself and prepare well for placement and talking about companies from 2nd year onwards companies started comming and everyone can seat in the exams but if you have back papers then they don't allow to seat in placement exams. I got placement in my 4th year in CTS.

From 7th semester u will sit in the placement cycle If I talk about this year then companies like Microsoft,Goldman Sachs ,chegg, Uber,, McKinsey etc visited Around 40-50 companies have visited till now. For highest package it's for Microsoft ig this year 53l And average package for software companies is around 12 lakhs Percentage of students getting placed is very low this year Around 30-40 % placed till now and this cycle continues till May end About my plans well I m preparing for govt examination

A comprehensive Review of Chandigarh University: Opportunities, Campus Life, and Future Prospects.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in 6th semester but the final placements is in 7th and 8th semesters. CU has strong placements record, especially for computer Science Engineering(CSE) students. The HIGHEST package is 54.50 LPA (domestic) 2 crore (international) average package is 5-7 LPA for CSE gradutes.in my University boasts a placement rate of over 95% for CSE students, making it one of its strongest displines. The companies visited or offers for students are Microsoft,Google, IBM, Amazon etc. If your placemnts not taking in any companies you can go for higher studies llikes master's degree.
