Remarks :

SRM University has their own entrance exam SRMJEE for taking admission in the various courses. You have to secure a decent rank in the exam to be eligible for the counselling and also you should have passed your 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the B.tech in CSE course because of my interests towards the subjects taught in this course. The faculty is overall great, they provide you a lot of help. This college has some of thhe great teachers who teach in the most amazing way possible!

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 265000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement session starts from june and ends in december for the final year students. The placements are above average. Most of the CSE students are placed in good companies like Wipro, TCS etc. The placement department is very supportive in placements.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fees structure is quite high for all the courses. The fees for transport facility, hostel are also high as compared to other colleges. But with the facilities provided to us, it is worth it. The infrastructure and other facilities are good.

Campus Life :

The campus life is decent. We have our annual fest PRISMA in the month of may. There are many clubs in our college like music clud, writing club etc. The library has plenty of books. The Classroom are very spacious.

Less crowded college, but not the best college life and placements

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in 3rd year for internships. However there are not much internship opportunity in the college. Only about 20-30 student get an internship on campus. Average stipend is around 20k.some companies visited are hero, Oyo rooms, mygate, service now etc. average package is around 8.5 lakhs and highest is 36Lakhs. My plans after degree is do to a start-up

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I knew a few people in the same course and they liked it and it aligned with my future plans as well. The course curriculum is shifting more towards placement oriented study and focusing more on increasing the placement statistics of the college. The area for improvement is focusing more on problem solving than cramming the theory to get good grades. There are exams every 2 months and the end semester exams are quite hard to crack if not prepared well and they cover up 35% of the total weightage.
