Remarks :
I applied to Indian Institute Pune, Nagpur, and Surat, and out of these three, I chose IIITPune. My rank was insufficient for the broad category, thus I was chosen from the quota. If you have a quota, you must obtain a minimum of 130 in JEE to be admitted to IIITPune; else, 140 should have been the closing band of marks for the broad category. The admissions procedure was straightforward.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I applied for CSE but was denied due to my rating, then I applied for ECE and was sent to IIITPUNE based on my rank. We have 22 students in the first year, 176 in CSE and 50 in ECE, with around 15 lecturers, so we have a reasonable mix. All of the faculty members are highly competent. We have three tests in one semester: t1, t2, and the end of the semester. They are a bit tough to pass while maintaining a good cgpa.
Placement Experience :
In the seventh semester, students become eligible for campus placement. The primary recruiters are Amazon, Gojek, and Juspay. The highest payout provided for the 20/21 class was 22 lac for three candidates, one from ECE and the other from CSE. The typical package runs between 7 and 9 lac. Internships ranging from 35,000 to 50,000 are available to more than 90% of students at the college level. I intend to obtain a good package job.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
When compared to NITs, our price structure is exorbitant, The fee structure was amazing and when computed for overall ways, the total spending reaches the maximum limit. We must first pay the complete costs for the year while also applying for the scholarship. If it is granted by both the institution and the government, we will receive it.
Campus Life :
The college's tech fests are the hackathon and ideathon. Tech events are typically held in February. We have a decent library, although it is not as large as the one at IIT. The classroom is equipped with all of the necessary conveniences for pupils. Sports such as cricket, football, table tennis, chess, and carrom are popular.
