Remarks :
Firstly you have to clear jee main with good percentile then you will get good college like NIT Raipur. For this, you have to pass out class 12th and there are no percentage barriers for jee mains. Seats are reserved according to which cast you belong from. for sc and st category they can get a good branch in fewer efforts, but it doesn't mean that you will not study properly. I also belong to the sc category and I got an ECE branch in NIT RAIPUR with an opening rank of 4954 (87.5 percentile) so you can relate how easy to crack jee mains for sc and sc category students. But if you belong to the General or obc category then you have to work hard. For handicapped students, they can get a CSE branch with an AIR rank of 600000+
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is electronics and communication engineering. I choose this branch for my pure interest. I was getting an IT branch but I didn't take that. The reason behind this is ECE is like an all-rounder branch, you can choose your path either technical or core field. the placement is also very good in this branch. the average package last year was 9.5 LPA for ECE branch. There are many teachers for different branch for same subject. and they are well educated If you want to get good cgpa then you have to attend classes properly and have to study well..
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are available for 2nd-year students and above. Students will get at least a 5 to 10k per month stipend most of the internships are for technical courses . you can apply for off-campus internships also in companies like Amazon Microsoft Google
Placement Experience :
The placement of our college is very good. The highest package offered was 2 crores (off campus) and 57 lacs per annum (on campus) in the CSE branch. Students in the 8th semester are eligible for campus placement. The famous companies like Amazon Microsoft Google Cisco and 100's other companies reach nitrr every year. The average package last year was 10 LPA more than 95 % of the students of CSE and IT got placed and for ECE more than 84% of students got their placements. placement for core branches is not satisfactory but it is good in comparison to other Nits. They have to try off-campus placement
Fees and Financial Aid :
Total fees for the b tech course is 138000 including tuition fee and exam fees and another curriculum. For sc and st students, they will get full tuition fee remission i.e. 125000 and their annual fees is juat 13k students whose parents' yearly income is less than 1 lac will also get full tuition fee waivers SCHOLARSHIP is also given to meritorious students There is many state and government scholarship like nsp and cg post matric SCHOLARSHIP for only chhattisgarh's students
Campus Life :
The campus of nit Raipur is very good. The annual fest organises every year is named ECLECTICA in springs. There is a very good library also. There are many sports grounds and courts for different types of games like cricket football tannins etc. There are many clubs also like hack club ( coding club), Nrityam the dance club •robotics club, •i cell club, •Rajbhasa club, •revival club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
There are only 5 hostels, 3 for boys and 2 for girls Students are facing problems getting a hostel every year. since the rooms of the hostels are quite good. 2 beds are given in each room and Almira is also provided. The meals of the hostel are satisfactory. The hostels are allotted on the basis of all India rank of jee main. 75% of the hostel is given to other state students and only 25% is reserved for home state students. There are many pg near college under 1 to 2 km
