Remarks :

I had applied for JEE Counselling and Rajasthan Board Counselling. I got 2 colleges, 1 from JEE and 1 from Rajasthan Board State Counselling. I opted for IIIT Nagpur as it is an institute of national importance. The cutoff for this was as usual in Jossa Counselling. Counselling was in online mode by Jossa. You have to reserve your seat by visiting the nearest NIT, IIT or Other Institutions. Once the seat is confirmed, you have to visit the college for admission on the date provided by IIIT Nagpur and complete the admission process. 1 or 2 days later, classes got started.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen ECE because I am much more interested in Electronics and cut off was also sufficient for this according to my marks. The faculty-student ratio for our branch is almost 1:10. Teachers are well qualified, researchers and had experience in well known National Institutions. Exams are always on time. There were 3 main exams in a semester and some quizzes in between for teachers assessment. Exams are moderate to pass. Some questions are tricky and some are easy to answer.

Internships Opportunities :

There were many internship opportunities from many companies such as Amazon, Goldman, TCS, etc. The internship ratio is a little good in this college. The stipend is not much revealed by students but it is okay. People get 3, 6 and 11-month internships based on their interest and performance for the company. Many app, web and software development has been done by students for the final project.

Placement Experience :

Currently, for the 1st batch, there were 100% internships and almost all people got a job with an average of 8 lakh per annum. Few companies visited. Not it is growing more some people got 40 to 50 lakh this year off-campus. On-campus placements are not still very good. Getting placements here will totally depend upon you and your efforts.

Fees and Financial Aid :

My college is not completed yet but the fee is already too high as compared. It is 2.15 lac for tution fee-only and if you opt hoster it will be at least 1.5 lac but depends on the type of rooms. College does not provide any scholarship directly, it is provided by a government portal. Only some state students get scholarships depending upon financial conditions. I am not getting any scholarship but some people even studies for free. Yet to get my job as I had only completed 2 and year.

Campus Life :

Campus life was not so good due to the temporary campus, It will soon have its own campus. 1 technical fest Tantrafiesta and 1 cultural fest Abhivyakti is organised once a year. Books are not in large quantity in the library. Classrooms are moderately equipped as of now. There are almost negligible Sports and extra activities on the campus. There are many clubs such as dotslash, Iotics, probe and many more. Overall campus life will improve once the new campus is ready.

A glimpse into Kolhapur Institute of technology.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility for campus placements in Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) typically starts from the pre-final year, which is usually the 6th semester. There are very named tech companies which visit to the college like TCS,WIPRO,etc. Average package offered is around 6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed in placement drive is 90%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is very interesting course. Iam interested in this course. It is very easy to understand. There are two semesters in a year. All the facilities of our college is teaching well and understanding of the students are top of the bottom. Timing of the exam is around three hours. Extending time is not available.
