Remarks :
The fee structure here at PSIT Kanpur is decent as compared to the facilities and infrastructure they provide . This college is close to my house and also there is not much difference as compared to NCR colleges or other AKTU private colleges. So I preferred this one. And also here the atmosphere is great for learning. They provide a good quality of placement training.
Course Curriculum Overview :
CS and IT are top branches at this college. These branches fill very fast as compare to other branches. ECE branch is also a good option here as the placement record is good enough. Coming to the Faculty here, now this the upper hand for this college. Most of the Faculty members are top class. They will teach you each and everything that comes in your semester exams.
Internships Opportunities :
For internships, the college provides a good no of opportunities. The students having relevant skills should get a company with a good stipend. The college provides a list of companies for students to enrol in. In the making of Projects, each student should have a mentor which helps the students to build projects.
Placement Experience :
Placements records are good here as compared to other tier 3 colleges. Most placements are from CS and It department. For placements at the end of 6 semesters, students are eligible. companies that visit for placements are many like INFOSYS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, TCS etc. Students should have more than 60 % in BTech till that semester for company placements. Some demand a higher percentage also.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fee structure of this college is quite decent as compared to other AKTU private colleges. Given the infrastructure and facilities and seeing that it is a private college you can opt for this. Coming to the scholarship there are not many opportunities. For a job on campus, students with good communication skill definitely have chances.
Campus Life :
Campus life is average as coming to this college students must keep in mind to study. Now there are good Fest like IGNITIA and also one or two more. The college has a top-class library comprising a large number of students to study. All the classrooms are air-conditioned.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel life is good as compare to campus life here. There are Ac rooms as well as non Ac rooms. The students can have little fun in the hostels. There are timings which you have to follow to go outside the college. In the beginning, they will not allow you more to go out but it will get better after 1 year. The food here is much better as compared to other AKTU private colleges.
