Remarks :

I applied only for Punjab Engineering College because I wanted it to be near my home, the admission criteria are you must have a ranking under 10000 for the admission and there are no minimum age criteria, the admission process begins with filling the josaa counselling form and after that, there are seven rounds of counselling where after every round you have to go and fill the details and if you are accepted with the results you go to the centre and tell them if you want the seat and want to freeze it or wait for another one so you go to better college

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are a minimum of 3-4 quizzes per semester and after that, there are the midterms and the end terms, the exams are easy if you study them properly you can pass easily, the books are easy to understand and if there is anything that is not understandable you can search the web and there are some great YouTube channels where you can study.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We get to work on projects on our own there are many internships offered from many companies and we get upto 1 lakh stipend and if the companies like the work they even give us the pavement offer we get the internships in the 6th semester after that the college evaluate us on the basis of our work.

Placement Experience :

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

Fees and Financial Aid :

There are many scholarships for reserved categories, like for people with disabilities, for scheduled castes, for scheduled tribes, and for economically weaker sections, people can also get other scholarships from the government, like from nic, the college also provides full and half fee waivers for the excellent performance of students.

Campus Life :

There are many clubs in which students can participate like the dramatics club and students association and study circle, the Debating Society of PEC, Music Club, Quiz Club, Robotics Club, Rotaract Club, the various editorial board.

Chandigarh University Adventure

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure was very good according to me as they gave extra classes for the placements like soft skill classes and aptitude classes every week which helped me very much to express myself and prepare well for placement and talking about companies from 2nd year onwards companies started comming and everyone can seat in the exams but if you have back papers then they don't allow to seat in placement exams. I got placement in my 4th year in CTS.

From 7th semester u will sit in the placement cycle If I talk about this year then companies like Microsoft,Goldman Sachs ,chegg, Uber,, McKinsey etc visited Around 40-50 companies have visited till now. For highest package it's for Microsoft ig this year 53l And average package for software companies is around 12 lakhs Percentage of students getting placed is very low this year Around 30-40 % placed till now and this cycle continues till May end About my plans well I m preparing for govt examination

A comprehensive Review of Chandigarh University: Opportunities, Campus Life, and Future Prospects.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in 6th semester but the final placements is in 7th and 8th semesters. CU has strong placements record, especially for computer Science Engineering(CSE) students. The HIGHEST package is 54.50 LPA (domestic) 2 crore (international) average package is 5-7 LPA for CSE gradutes.in my University boasts a placement rate of over 95% for CSE students, making it one of its strongest displines. The companies visited or offers for students are Microsoft,Google, IBM, Amazon etc. If your placemnts not taking in any companies you can go for higher studies llikes master's degree.
