CET offers more than 50 courses at UG and PG levels which include BTech, BArch, MTech, MArch, MBA, MCA, MPlan. CET provides you with best teaching experiences available in this university. The campus facilities and hostel facilities are so good and adaptable to students from different background. MTech and MPlan admissions are based on Gate scores and the selection of candidates to the MBA programme is based on the CAT/CMAT/KMAT scores. Admission to MArch programme is based on candidate's merit in the previously qualified degree exam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering ranks Second among the courses provided at CET. This is one of the oldest courses and has the best faculties. All faculties in department are either professors or associate/ assistant professors. The teaching method used varies with professors but everyone invest their best to make students learn in the most efficient way possible. The difficulty in term exams also varies but are always on a particular standard. As of now, number of girls in the classes are lesser when compared to boys but a decrease in this gap is seen in the new batches.

Internships Opportunities :

I have only opted for one internship so far which was an unpaid one. College provides a lot of internship opportunities and we also have a internship cell in our college. in college internships are also available under different faculties in the college.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are offered in CET and most them comes with good salary packages which varies from 6lpa to 40lpa. although most of the students opt for college placements some go for higher studies. A good support is provided for those students from the faculty side.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Per semester fee for BTech is INR 14500. The scholarship are given those who are deserving based on academic performances and economical background. Internship opportunities with stipend are available outside campus but only less students opt for it as the tuition fee is affordable.

Campus Life :

CET provides you with the best campus life. It was the best experience that I had in my educational institutions. There are lot number of technical and non-technical clubs to which students can be a great part of and can take academics in hand along with club activities. Technical clubs mostly concentrate to build the technical side of students by conducting various workshops and competitions. Non-Technical clubs are mostly related to social works which helps in building the social volunteering part of the students. The main events in CET are Disha, conducted for the first year students by second year students. It is through Disha that the freshers will create a better bond with their seniors. Then comes Drishti, the college Technical fest which is open to students from different colleges. Then comes the best and main event in CET called as Dhwani. It is the best cultural event that anyone could ever find in Kerala. Dhwani can last up to 3-5 days.

Admission :

Interview with the faculties and principle was conducted during the time of admission. but it was just informal interview just to let students know about the working of campus and curriculum. After admission orientation programmes are conducted which would last up to 1-3 weeks.

Communication is the key weapon for a individual to expresa their emotional state to another individual. From my view point learning different aspects of language means persuing something great. So I decided to go with BA Communicative English. It deals with phonetics, literature, languages and different branches. Models and other language development programmes and assessments are being cultivated among the students

Placement Experience:

We are probably eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Since i am in my first year, i did not visit any companies or get any offers. I don't know much about the packages offered by companies. The percentage of students getting placements in 27%. My plan after getting a degree is to get 3 years of work experience to become an ACCA affiliate and to work as a financial manager for a top company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very volatile and undergoes changes very often. Some changes might be useful while the others are very useless. Most of the board members donot understand the plight of the students as they are from a different generation.
