LIFE IN COLLEGE OUTSIDE THE NCR

Remarks :

Firstly I got a really good certification course from IBM in Big Data And Analytics. The admission process was like we have to reach college, they told us about the fee structure and did a college tour for us. The only reason for me to choose this college was the high-tech Labs and courses they offer.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose big data and analytics as data is the backbone of every industry and I was really keen to know how and what makes data work for the best. The faculty was experienced and moreover, they were polite and helpful. Majorly the whole faculty was having a Ph.D. degree or a doctorate degree in their major field. I'll rate exams above average in difficulty level.

Placement Experience :

The placement was OK, they called companies for placements but companies didn't like us much so let's leave that aside. The number of companies was there but I'll say that it was not our best time as corona was on fleek. The highest package offered was 8Lpa in the sales department not quite sure about the percentage. My plan after degree is to join an intern in a good firm and work best on my career.

Fees and Financial Aid :

There was no fee hike throughout the course. They have 25% scholarship based on academic performance or co-curricular in school. College really helped us well in placement but it was our bad that corona was hitting at that time.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is named Prizma and the tech fest is digital akhada. Both are conducted in Feb and October respectively. All books including academics and others are present in the college library and we can issue them easily and if the fine is generated we can pay online. There are not much amenities in the classroom other than basic ones like air conditioners and projector and a smartboard. There are no websites run by students but there are drama and dance clubs run by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I knew a few people in the same course and they liked it and it aligned with my future plans as well. The course curriculum is shifting more towards placement oriented study and focusing more on increasing the placement statistics of the college. The area for improvement is focusing more on problem solving than cramming the theory to get good grades. There are exams every 2 months and the end semester exams are quite hard to crack if not prepared well and they cover up 35% of the total weightage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

"I would rate the course curriculum as 4 out of 5. It is well-structured and covers most core and emerging topics in the field, but it could include more hands-on projects or exposure to industry practices to enhance practical application.
