Aaishwarya Dhapre's Review On SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute Of Management Studies - [NMIMS University], Shirpur

Remarks :

The course that I selected was first introduced around 2004 and even after 15 years, is still in demand and recognised not just in India but also in foreign countries. The placement of alumni shows the returns you get after joining this course. Moreover, the institution is renowned and ensures good quality education. The institution secured 4th position in the list of best engineering schools in western India. No matter how disappointing, but brand name of your college does play an important part at the time of recruitment and the institute I joined is quite well known for MBA (which is ny post graduate course). NMIMS is one of the best B-schools in the country

Course Curriculum Overview :

As far as my experience is concerned, I can't say much because I have just joined the college and have been attending online classes due to this covid 19 pandemic situation. But what I got to know from the conversation I had with an alumnus is that the college infrastructure is impeccable. This institution is a deemed university so it can bring about any change in the curriculum whenever it wants. The positive side of this is that the management is constantly in touch with the industry the students are going to get placed in, the ask what the industry demands from their interns or employees, design the curriculum accordingly and then train the students to fit that job. This increases the chances of a student getting placed in a good company.

Placement Experience :

There are endless job opportunities at campus placement. Not just indian but even multinational companies hire students at good salary package.

College Events :

The campus life is very happening. A lot of events and fests are conducted throughout the year. Flavium is the annual sports meet, Protsahan is the annual cultural fest and Ambiora is the tech fest for 3rd year engineering students. Apart from the a lot of small events are conducted frequently for students so they get a chance to expand their circle.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Structure at SLRTCE is well structured and covering core electronics and computer science concepts, but it could include more industry oriented skills and emerging technology. It provides good foundation for real world applications and higher studies exams held twice per semester and updates to the curriculum and interactive teaching methods would further improve it's relevance and effectiveness.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have interest in that particular field and I like to do that course related experiments . The Indian government should develop many companies for ENTC students so that they can get placed at large number.

Remarks:

It's a indeed a good college just have some problems of having two campuses and moving from one campus to another campus is very tidious during summers. And this college established in 1880s so there is some old buildings you can see too in campus.
