Remarks :

The good thing in PSIT is academics.We can get quality education in PSIT. The course syllabus are kept upto date by the institute authorities. The industrial exposure is provided by the college from 6th sem onwards.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The teaching faculty are good, the lab sessions are good as well. Currently I, study in the ECE department. The curriculum is updated and the course is well distributed. The topics are relevant to the syllabus.

Class Size : 26Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience :

PSIT provides great placement opportunities but you need to know how to grab them as well. Core companies do visit but in very limited numbers. Irrespective of whichever branch you are from, you need to learn coding to get a good offer. Average salary offered are between 3-4 lpa while the highest is around 26 lpa.

College Events :

The campus is very huge. Everything which is required for a life of student is readily available inside campus.There are lots of greenery surrounding the campus and is peaceful.We have a food court which is a popular hangout among Students.The location is safe,the only downside being it gets very hot during summer months. There are many opportunities for students for several activities beside study.

Campus Life :

The buildings are tall and huge with an extravagant architecture for a college campus. The auditorium is one of the best with great acoustic. Labs do have adequate equipment. Complaints to the highest authority can bring in instant changes in things like this. Hostels are well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is overrated no doubt but at the end it all worth it when you treat the patient. Currently NMC guidelines are clinically directed but the way college fulfills it are not up to the guidelines. After doing MBBS in this college you are not that much confident to prescribe any medication independently. Education here is more theoretical than practical. College can improve it by giving more practical knowledge on real patients. Due to lots of junior residents, MBBS students get less chance to perform any clinical activities.

The students get eligible for placements from the 7 th semester itself, a lot of campus placements occur here. The companies visiting are TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, MOTHERSO, TALENT SURV etc.. The highest package offered was 34 LPA and the average here is 4-5 LPA. About 90 percent of students get placed here with good package. I am basically aiming for a job too after completion of the course
