Remarks :

Gauhati Commerce college is a prestigious college in the city of Guwahati. It is the premiere commerce college in Northeastern part of the country. It has got good result records, good faculty and the location is proper for travelling through any means of transport.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses must change as Gauhati University is following an age old course which is benefitting no students. The faculty is good, helpful to the students. But also some teachers must teach in proper way so that the barrier between students and teachers get reduced because we are in degree level.

Course Fees : INR 24000 per year

Placement Experience :

Companies like TCS, Federal bank, etc. visited the college campus in 2019. In 2020, due to Covid, no placements were done for degree level. Placement is average

College Events :

It is lively. Events like college and freshers are quite famous in the whole city. College week is very fun as all kind of activities, starting from sports to beauty paegents are organised. It is organised in February first week.

OIL, NRL, ONGC, BCPL visit here specially for petroleum and mechanical students But still it is hard to get placed here as only the top students are allowed to sit in interviews.
