Remarks :

First of all,it is a Government Institute which. Secondly, I got my desired branch in this as per the cutoff and that also in the special round. I don't want to take a year drop, so I choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum contains proper time for exams and completion of courses and all govt. holidays.The academics contains good subjects like ML, DL, cryptography and many more which are needed and are in demand nowadays. The faculties are neutral as some teachers teach very well while some teach just for the sake of completion of course.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 56000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I have been Software Engineering Intern in Kakud Post Harvest Pvt. Ltd. It is an Agricultural based Industry.My rols was to create a website and software for the company with stipend:1500/month. I participated in Makers Makeathon in Sandbox Startups, there I met with few entrepreneurs.One day I got a call that there is their company named Kakud and they explained me all of their requirements. The Offer letter was signed by both the company and us as an intern which contained the duration, my role and stipend.

Placement Experience :

The company that visited our college were Actyv-4 got placed, Techurate-3 got placed, Intel-1 got placed, Mind Tree-0 got placed. Others got off-campus placement.

College Events :

We have only one cultural event in the whole year. Since we were in transit campus, for sports we need to got in other colleges for playgrounds to play. But now as we will be having our own campus sports will be fine. The sports that is provided is TT, Badminton, Volleyball, Cricket and kho-kho.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Scholarship was not available for the students from Gujarat. The local people had scholarship on National Scholarship Portal.

Campus Life :

We were in a transit-campus till last year. This year we were expected to shift to main campus, but due to this pandemic,it got delayed. At transit campus, wi-fi speed was very good. The classroom were very spacious, enough for our batch of 60 students. And labs were well equipped with updated computers and about 2 wi-fi per lab. There were three labs. Books were quite less in number as compare to no. Of students, but still everyone shared them. Canteen was quite small for the strength of 200 people.

Hostel Facilities :

We were in PG with rent Rs. 6000/month with average quality food and wi-fi service. The timings were good that is till 8pm i.e. to come back to pg. And rooms were good with attached washrooms. The city is full of students so there you can find PGs very easily in homes also and in buildings also.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is really good. There are many good companies that come here. They ask relevant questions. Many don't take for they wanna pursue higher studies or do work in some other area like me????. You need 80 percentage attendance to take part in placements. They have a different office for placements itself where you can ask your queries and doubts regarding placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cybersecurity curriculum in Dsu is designed to provide both theoretical foundations and practical experience in key areas such has security, linus and other related topics . With labs and workshops we get hands on experience on real world problems which help us during placement and internship . The faculty and the curriculum are up to date and help us learn the tools which are currently needed. Cybersecurity isn't just about IT it's also related to law(cybercrime laws),business(risk management) so introducing courses related to them can help students In cybersecurity certification is important so helping students to prepare for certification such has cissp, CompTIA and others can help students a lot Coming to the exams it's not that stressful we will have a month or two to prepare and me personally think 1 week is enough to clear it

If students give thier maximum they will get it and the good part is, the college pushes us for placements and introduces many more things for good placements like placement programs. One of my family friend referred me there and through the help of an agency I got admisiiin here.All the procedures were done by them.An agent will come with us till all the procedures are over.Fee structure is like 1st year 3 lakh and next4 years 1,75,500 rupees
