Remarks :

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies is considered to be one of the top colleges in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for BBA. It is ranked as 2nd in GGSIPU. It provides better campus life from the first ranked college and also good exposure opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Teachers are friendly and helpful. They are friendly and supportive, you just need the quality to differentiate yourself from other students. Teaching quality is good in some subjects you can feel that teacher isnâ??t good enough. Curriculum is good and suitable.

Placement Experience :

Since, BBA is a course from which you donâ??t expect big salary packages. Moreover, the placement cell is not god enough to lure big companies. This course is basically related to management, so you can expect for posts of a manage in any department. WIPRO, DELOITTE are one of the companies that visit campus for recruitment.

College Events :

This college organises one annual fest which I personally donâ??t find that good. Many societies organize many fests from time to time. Seminars and guest lectures are organized by college from time to time which can be really informative.

Campus Life :

MAIMS and MAITs both share same campus which turns out to be a good point. The campus is great and best among all the ipu colleges, where you have five canteens. Food options are good and taste is okay. There is only boysâ?? hostel in the campus. Classrooms are air conditioned and good.

Reality of a Government College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course offered me to gain knowledge about various aspects used to run and understand the terms related to business. curriculum is great considering its comprehensiveness and relevance with daily changing future requirements. besides the subjects that student has taken admission in,they get additional courses such as languages (both indian and international changing according to semesters),they get a "skill enhancement course" which include a great deal of subjects from finance,personality development and sports.same goes for "value enhancement course" and "EVS" which includes study of environment.

Life at IIITD

Placement Experience:

IIIT Delhi provides good on campus placement offers, but I guess due to recession the placement were worst last year. Otherwise the college has above 90% placements in each branch. Enough companies come to recruit here but you have to be skilled enough to qualify for the placement. CSSS and CSD are the worst branches in terms of placement here, but not that much as compared in general.

I like the college life!!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my particular course that is BCom (hons) it does not provides any choice for the AEC cource in 2nd and 3rd sem, student have to select hindi which is not good at all. Every sem is of approx 4 months, so the frequency of exams is after every 4 months and one has to clear 7 papers in order to pass the sem exam.
