Raghav Verma's Review On Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Management Studies - [MAIMS], New Delhi

Remarks :

Good exposure and mainly they have hostel in the same campus. It is the only reason I choose this college and good faculty and they trying to always help you in every situation, a/c class room and distilled water and a very big ground where you can play any game and they have a separate court of basketball and badminton.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Syllabus is same as all others IPU college have, no industrial exposure yet, faculties are very appreciative and the sports faculty I think it's good.

College Events :

All the festival is organised by the college students they have several groups for managing the event all the event are organised within the campus only and they are very big but participating in them was very easy u have to give a interview that was very easy and the question they asked was very natural not technical or rocket science.

Campus Life :

Infrastructure not bad actually and sports faculty are very good but the library maims had was not that big.

Placement Experience:

PGDAV college does not have a formal campus placement but the college provides good career supports through workshops, internships and alumini networks. Many students get their job through their personal efforts or external internships.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course offered me to gain knowledge about various aspects used to run and understand the terms related to business. The course prepares to deal with simple terms and understand them and to take actions upon them. The infrastructure can be improved. The timings for both internals and externals is good.

In RLAC there is a placement cell which work for providing placements . Every year many companies ( big/ small) come and choose the liable students for their companies. Looking back into not many MNLC s have approached to college but yes by looking at the stats it can't be said that MNlCs don't approach.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Don't give you much of practical exposure, more of your own hustle. I'd better suggest you to find people who help you grow yourself because nobody else can do it for you.. Try getting things yourself don't completely rely on college, try finding internships yourself

The Placement Cell of the Campus by its name is Campus Placement cell. It is a student-led body that from its inception has invited the top companies including McKinsey, Accenture, D.E. Shaw, etc. Hence, it provides a competent and high package base for the students in the corporate world. The highest package was 25 LPA. The college within the Cell collaborates with NGOs, wildlife sanctuaries as well as other opportunities for individuals who want to get into the social aspect of corporate space. Students become eligible in their 3rd years when the Campus is bombarded with placement companies with various opportunities

KPMG, Deloitte, PwC and others have blacklisted many colleges and have or are in favour of KMC. Analyst and project level jobs are offered to KMC students and from 7th semester onwards students gear up for placements.

IIIT Delhi provides good on campus placement offers, but I guess due to recession the placement were worst last year. Otherwise the college has above 90% placements in each branch. Enough companies come to recruit here but you have to be skilled enough to qualify for the placement. CSSS and CSD are the worst branches in terms of placement here, but not that much as compared in general.

In my particular course that is BCom (hons) it does not provides any choice for the AEC cource in 2nd and 3rd sem, student have to select hindi which is not good at all. Every sem is of approx 4 months, so the frequency of exams is after every 4 months and one has to clear 7 papers in order to pass the sem exam.
