Remarks :

It's a government college and iiit have it's value. We were mentored by nit hamirpur till last year. Unfortunately we are kept in temporary campus. About the course, ece has a large scope in future. Also I have interest in my subjects

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus of our college is inspired by iits and rarely found in any iiit. I am in my second year and could not visit any industrial tour last sem. But we went to the bakra nangal dam as industrial visit in our 1st sem. Faculty is cooperative, knowledgable and well certified.

Class Size : 44Course Fees : INR 877360 per year

Placement Experience :

Company visits are low. Most of our students are placed through off campus placements. But according to 4th year students we have microsoft, Amazon interns from our college

College Events :

Every festival is celebrated at the campus in the presence of director sir and registrar sir in a room with 2-3 acts performed by students only. No fest or cultural festival is held in 1st year in my presence.

Campus Life :

Wifi, library, labs are well established and maintained but sports facility are poor and for girls even worst. Gym is available for the boys only, some of the sports equipment are kept in boys common room only and cannot be availed by girls.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are large and accommodate 3-4 people. Hostels has to be availed at the time of admission only. Toilets/bathroom are not attached in girls hostel. We also do not have a balcony or as such in the girls hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Life at IIIT UNA

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of IIIT UNA is good. The highest package of 2023 in IIIT Una was 60 lpa(off campus) and 45 lpa (on campus) . The average pakage was 15 lpa , and around 90 % of the student got placed, during the placement drive. The average pakage of IT department was 16 lpa. A full semester is dedicated for internship and to earn work experience. Many companies like Google, Facebook, nvidia,Amazon etc appeared into placement drive.I am also targeting such FANG companies.
