Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite broad with a 4.5-year study and a 1-year compulsory internship. It is pretty similar to other big medical colleges in India. Throughout the year we have practical assessments, labs, assignments, and written for which one needs to put constant efforts.
Placement Experience :
Well, in this profession one will easily get a job after graduation. We do have our one-year compulsory internship which is a form of training for the real-world. After graduation, one can join any hospital or pursue higher studies. Well, most of my seniors are working in some great hospitals while some pursuing DNB and MS.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Well, this is government college so mostly your expenses are covered by the government. I had to pay around 6K INR in the first year and 1.3K in rest years. Well, this does not include the accommodation and food charges, but compared to other colleges out there, it is very less.
Campus Life :
We celebrate a lot of events on our campus including fresher's party, prom night, send-off party for seniors, and many other events. We also celebrate all festivals on our campus. Me and my gang go for hikes and trips on holidays, so it is pretty fun here.
Admission :
Getting into this medical college is like a dream come true. We all know how tough it is to acquire a seat in a government medical college. I had to work hard to get a good score in the entrance exams. The admission in this college is via merit list basis of your NEET-UG marks.
Faculty :
All the doctors are highly qualified having MS or DNB degree at least. They are highly experienced in their work field with years of experience. You might find some teachers to be quite strict, as they want your proper attention and won't tolerate misbehaving( this is no joke when someone's life may depend on your knowledge).
