Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is affiliated with Northeastern Hill University and is approved by the Medical Council of India. The course usually begins in August of each year, with up to 50 students per batch. The duration of the course is four years, followed by a one-year internship.
Placement Experience :
Students are given much exposure during the internship phase as they have to work in various disciplines such as General Medicine, Community Medicine, Pediatrics, and Ophthalmology. All departments must work on a rotation basis. It gives students an idea of ??all the disciplines and helps them choose the specialization they are interested in.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As it is a govt. college, the fee is low. The total fee for the course is very low compared to other medical colleges. Total course fees cover a lot of costs, and the exam fee exceeds 1000 and 1500 coaching fees. The hostel facility charges 2,500 per month for students. It is the best college in terms of cost.
Campus Life :
The extracurricular activities include various literary events, essay writing and poetry works organized by the literary group?the college hosts sporting events such as Cultural Fest, Indoor, and Doodle Games. The school hosts social fest, indoor and outdoor sports such as exercise.
Admission :
Neet UG test scores and twelfth class scores are considered for admission together. The college has 50 seats and has been admitted through the counseling process. Often the cut-off ranges from 96 to 97%, with a score of at least 50% on Twelfth Class marks.
Faculty :
The faculty consists of physicians who specialize in related fields. Although the course can be very stressful, the class atmosphere is very friendly and the professors try to facilitate it. As some of them practice in the hospital, they help students to describe the real-time situation the doctor is facing.
