Remarks :

It's a good place with tough rules but end of the day, it will change your life for the better.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is more MCI driven. It's common to all the medical students across the country. KIMS however makes the understanding easy through various classes, interacting sessions and practical exposure. Hospital visits happen on an everyday basis. There are frequent visits to adopted villages and the various other small clinics under the same radar. Learning here is very relevant.

Placement Experience :

Internship happens in the same college as the one we join in 1st year. It's a compulsion. This is followed by an entrance test for future studies PG.

College Events :

Convocation- in the month of March, 2. Foundation day- in the month of July. Fest( month long) where the entire college plays a part. Frequent conferences - with special guests from various colleges speak of advancement in this field. All the students are encouraged to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is also government decided. It's a yearly fee, played at the beginning of each year. Payment is usually by cash or bank transfer. Additionally, fee includes laboratories, computer labs, libraries, and field visits with all the security. Yes, they do provide transparency in fee break down.

Fees and Financial Aid :

They did offer the opportunity but I haven't opted for it. Those who did, most were cleared soon. Those who had problems, they were etaken care of.

Campus Life :

Campus life is peaceful. It's in the outskirts of Nalgonda - less sound, more greenery. Gender ratio is 1:1. Extracurriculars we have excelled in. Sports has been one place of win. Students come from different parts o the country, so the culture here is rich with diversity.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni, have achieved great heights. Each one doing great in their own departments. Seniors have been ever helpful. A little fun, a little strict but very good.

Admission :

Medicine has always made me curious. I opted for this course to satisfy the same. KIMS is one of the leading medical colleges of Telangana, and the top ranking in private sector. It has a team of faculty members who are well known for their expertise. Plus the lush green campus, only adds to the beauty. An interested candidate has to attempt the NEET-UG exam. After the ranks are given out, there is a government run website which allows one to choose their college of interest and list their priorities. Following this, there is allotment of seats to the eligible candidates, depending on their rank and their priority.

Faculty :

Faculty members from any department, include everyone from a new comer to experienced members, all. owning a post according to their expertise and qualifications. Any professor approached, is all ready to answer our questions, even if they are unable to, make sure to get back with it as soon as possible. All of them, invariably are ones who are practicing medicine professionally.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choice is based on my future, since my parents are doctors and we have a hospital, so I came into this course. The curriculum is pretty through, it's got pretty much everything covered. Not much room for improvement I feel like. The exams are not super hard, and the frequency is just right, there is enough time to prepare and enough time between two exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor is a very respectful and responsible profession. One deserves the respect after all the years of hardwork. It's not an easy course, it requires many sacrifices and a lot more hardwork day and night. 5 yrs of undergraduation and another 3 yrs of postgraduation. With another 2 years of super-speciality. That is 10 years of one's life. We are dedicated towards patients care and wellbeing. We have a separate thing called "AETCOM" for us to learn the real world applications and hospital postings to have patient doctor interactions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very vast and has a lot to study. During exams time it's very stressful. Even then I chose those course because I love learning about the human body. The curriculum of MBBS is prepared by the NMC. NMC should take care that the curriculum of MBBS is not changed frequently. Depending upon the length of the academic year in the academic calender released by NMC exams are held by the university.
