Remarks :

I chose CUSAT because it is very old college and also is very reputated college in Kochin. I always wanted to join a government university and this was one of them. The college has good students reviews.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am student of B.Tech program in the departments of computer science. My curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in my field of computer science. Quality of teaching is standard, teachers are good in their subject. What i am studying and also some extra curriculum makes me job ready.

Placement Experience :

In CS branch,If you don't have any backlogs then you will get placed. Almost 90% student get placed every year. Highest salary was 29 LPA last year but it has been offered to few student. Average salary is 4-5 LPA.

College Events :

The total campus area is 180 acre and it's full of greenness that is the best part here. There is no separate ground for cricket and football however you can enjoy badminton court here. The college held many fest like tech fest,cultural fest and a large no of student participate in it.

Campus Life :

The college has all necessary infrastructure like well maintained classrooms and laboratories with all necessary and modern equipment. We have the facilities of WiFi and LAN.The hostels and mess areas are clean well maintained. Although college does not provide hostel in first year.

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
