Remarks :

It's well reputed, has a good placement stat. It is having a good lot of students and also because the college is in Chandigarh. Everything that you need is available around. There are good facilities for recreation and fun.

Course Curriculum Overview :

For industrial exposure, we have an industrial tour that students go for in their second year. We visit different industries and learn how everything happens. Facilities are both good and bad, some are really strict, some are really good. Some are not well equipped with technical skills and might have some problem delivering the content to the students but some teachers are really good at building student's interest. Mahajan sir is a prime example, he will go the extra mile just to make sure that students get what they want and encourage students to have a discussion.

Class Size : 46Course Fees : INR 480000 per year

Placement Experience :

A lot of companies visit the campus, both core and non core. JP Morgan, Salesforce, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Amazon, Bain are some of those companies. The placement department of our college is really hardworking and dedicated.

College Events :

There are many clubs and technical societies. From speaking to writing, dancing to music, coding to entrepreneurship, every topic has a separate club and society to take care of. Saasc is a student's association and study circle. Debating, MUNing and quizzes are their domain. We have an English, Hindi and Punjabi editorial board.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I availed of the scholarship for merit. For that, you need to be having the highest CGPA in your batch. You only need to pay the security deposit, your tuition fees will be waived off by the college. This scholarship is for both boys and girls. For girls, there's a separate scholarship based on merit, 2 girls from each batch with the highest CGPA avails it.

Chandigarh University Adventure

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure was very good according to me as they gave extra classes for the placements like soft skill classes and aptitude classes every week which helped me very much to express myself and prepare well for placement and talking about companies from 2nd year onwards companies started comming and everyone can seat in the exams but if you have back papers then they don't allow to seat in placement exams. I got placement in my 4th year in CTS.

From 7th semester u will sit in the placement cycle If I talk about this year then companies like Microsoft,Goldman Sachs ,chegg, Uber,, McKinsey etc visited Around 40-50 companies have visited till now. For highest package it's for Microsoft ig this year 53l And average package for software companies is around 12 lakhs Percentage of students getting placed is very low this year Around 30-40 % placed till now and this cycle continues till May end About my plans well I m preparing for govt examination

Students are eligible for placements in 6th semester but the final placements is in 7th and 8th semesters. CU has strong placements record, especially for computer Science Engineering(CSE) students. The HIGHEST package is 54.50 LPA (domestic) 2 crore (international) average package is 5-7 LPA for CSE gradutes.in my University boasts a placement rate of over 95% for CSE students, making it one of its strongest displines. The companies visited or offers for students are Microsoft,Google, IBM, Amazon etc. If your placemnts not taking in any companies you can go for higher studies llikes master's degree.
