My College Review

Remarks :

You can have good facilities in the college, but the placement in the college is very less. If you want to think of getting placed in this college in core Branch you should be in top 30-40students in this branch which is very challenging. You have to give the KIITEE exam, then you will be called for the admission process where you need to select your branch, pay the fees and you will get enrolled. The admission process is simple and easy. I would like to suggest to chose CS, IT and their derived branches but not the core branches, yes the placement is the major reason. I didn't personally find this college, yes the free form attracted me like it attracts most of the people.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the course because my family background is related to this Branch and also I have an interest in this Branch. There are lots of facilities in this department, yes the quality might be a matter of concern. The faculty level is average or just above average. Facilities are well educated but yes again the same concern teaching strategy is just above average. Exams are conducted timely and it's easy to pass the exams, but for getting good grades you need to more focused on your studies. Also, you can find that faculties are a little biased to the native people who all are having the same language which they speak.

Placement Experience :

For internship thing you are eligible from 3rd year, for placement thing again I will say if you are opting for core Branch the placement thing is worse here but yes if you want to go for IT, marketing & sales field you can have that but then again why to opt for core Branch when you want this kind of placement. Core branch had 8 companies at my time with maximum of 30-35 students getting placed from this University, and overall 50-60 students got placed from this University out of 320 students. Yes, the percentage of places students in core branch in approx 20% yet the University claims for 100% placed students which is totally a fake thing and a matter of shame. I also thought of getting placed but yes I was not top 20-30 students from my branch and was unplaced and is now preparing for other exams.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Once you get enrolled, the same fees will be all the time for you. There might be only a 4-5k hike in price in your whole study period. The placement scenario is a matter of concern. You might want to get places if you are in the core branch and seeking for the core company.

Campus Life :

Annual and tech fest are the same here and it occurs simultaneously. The library is very good, you can find a lot and lots of books to study. During my study period, I can only say you will find lesser ground in KIIT. And many of the fields will be given to the KISS students and many of the days you have to come back to your room with your face down as you were not able to play the sports. Overall it's below average. There are lots of societies in which students can enroll themselves and gain some social activity skills.

Hostel Facilities :

There are many options for which you can opt like ac, non-ac, ac attached with bathroom and occupancy varying from 1-3 bed. Food quality decreases from time to time and you will get good food in the final year. The menu is good. You can opt for a hostel facility when you will be given an admission form while enrolling for your Branch. Yes, if you are living in a hostel and then you want to opt-out from a hostel facility it will be a hell of a task as University will not easily allow you and you are going to get frustrated from it.

KIIT offers 100% with all students getting placed with an average package of 8 lakhs per annum. Usually, students are eligible from the end of 6th semester for campus placements. Till now we have had over 113 companies visit us this fall with companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, YugaByte, Junglee Games, KPMG, GoComet, and many more with the highest package offered to be 52 lakhs per anum. I plan to work as a software engineer after getting my degree!

there are lot of good job oppurtunities at IITBBS. students can start looking for work on campus in their 7th semester which is the final year and 9th semester for dual degree students. the CDC cell works hard to put students in toch with top employers in a wide range of fields. every year big companies like google, tata steel, L&T and many more come to recruit.in past few years highest salary has been more than 1 crore and avg package would be 18lpa and placement percentage would be around 85.
