Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is based like every other medical college which has it's focus on training and theory both. The exams days were usually hectic but apart from that if you have a balanced time table it won't be much of a problem.

Placement Experience :

The placement and internships are usually for masters degree but once the MBBS degree is completed students usually have ample time and college can help them in giving them internships in various colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is around 6000 for the first year which I think is comparatively cheaper than any other medical college. This fee structure is for MBBS course. There might be slight variations for other courses.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The college can provide scholarships to meritorious students who perform consistently well. There are loans for economically backward people as well. A bank is also operational within the college. The figures of the scholarship depends on the college.

Campus Life :

There are various guest lectures, seminars and workshops conducted by the college for students to learn beyond their course and build their soft skills as well. There is a general harmony in college and peaceful environment is there throughout.

Admission :

The admission to the MBBS course is based on the NEET Examinations and after the cutoff is decided which is usually around 59 percentile students are eligible to seek admission. MBBS was my passion that's why I chose this course.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is well trained and highly qualified in the work they do. They are usually helpful and help us in every possible way. There is hardly any discrepancy between the student teacher reactions.

Review of NEIGRIHMS medical College

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBBS because I wanted to be the first doctor in my family. I feel happy whenever I get to interact with patients. Like every other medical College neigrihms also has attached hospital which enables application of practical knowledge via the patients. The exams are a little bit tough . The passing criteria is 50%. There are 3 exams in each year which occurs quaterly

My life in NEIGRIHMS till now

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took admission in MBBS in NEIGRIHMS in 2021. Through my journey of three years and more I found that the faculties in NEIGRIHMS here are veruyhumble and kind. All the professor are very supportive and Good to everyone. NEIGRIHMS is not like others colleges . I personally feels lucky very to study in these college. Teachers here are very humble and they teaches very good . The way of teaching is excellent. They also interact with us . They always help very students in their academics. NEIGRIHMS being a central college the professor here is also very professional and prove in very steps that they are so qualified that they teaches us very well. I am very proud to be here and feels very lucky. NEIGRIHMS is also very beautiful place and campus here is looks amazing. There is greehy everywhere and flowers are blooming everywhere. They really care about environment and plant many trees every time. The campus view is very amazing. Students should really come here and enjoy the beauty here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ok so in each year there are two Internals examination one pre professional and last professional. Internal are bit tough but the final exams are easy like we have in schools pre board is always tough but board exams are easy Exams are taken in period of 3 months. Teaching method is also descent. Also these internals will help u to complete ur course and i think clinical questions should not be there in 1 st year exams because we don't have that much exposure to diagnose the disease. If u want to pursue MBBS then it is the right place as u will get more exposure cause less students so u will get to learn more. Faculty members are also good when it comes to teaching

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose medicine because I love helping others. There is enough faculty for 50 students, the number of seats is likely to increase soon in the coming years. Each student is known by face and name to the teachers and so interaction is very social and good. Every semester has its exam and it was easy to pass if you are attentive in class.

MBBS Experience at the best college Shillong could have

Admission:

The admission criteria in this college is based on the merit list and students need to have a medical or non medical degree in their +2. Students must pass with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities are ample for the medical students and they can get recruited from top hospitals within and outside Shillong. Internships are conducted within the college itself to give exposure.

Admission:

Admissions for MBBS course is via NEET UG examination. Students also must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in their higher secondary education. In general the cut off is set at 96.67% in NEET. After counseling i got admission in this college.

Placement Experience:

Students are given a lot of exposure during the internship stage as they have to work in various departments such as general medicine, Community medicine, Pediatrics, ophthalmology etc. They have to work on a rotational basis on all the departments. This gives students an idea of all the departments and also helps them choose the specialization that interests them.
