Remarks :

Positive remarks are we have very good infrastructure facilities, lab facilities, good sports, good facilities and all. When it comes to negative remarks, the students Union in our college is not that powerful enough.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very good. Although our college have very good infrastructure and lab facilities. The exams are not too tough nor that easy. Also we are getting enough break between the semester examinations.

Placement Experience :

Yes our college provides good placements from all over India. About 200-250 students get placed each and every year through direct placements. Mostly the MRF tyeares, Nissan, tecnopark these companies usually come to our college for placements.

College Events :

Mainly the most exciting event in our college is Hestia, the national level techno-cultural fest There are also lots and lots of programmes like TRIKA - helping poor and affected children Then, steps tkmce is yet another programme to help poor and needy people.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is not that expensive. It is affordable by all. Our fee is about 8000/- per year. Then also some extra funds for semester examinations is being collected by our college. The fee structure is comparatively less.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The college also provides good scholarships. Most of the poor students appyy for the scholarship every year. They get scholarships from central government and also from state government. the college takes much responsibility to inform the students about the scholarship at the right time.

Campus Life :

All the extra curricular activities are good enough in my college. The annual athletic meet is conducted at a very high level as we have so many students from sports quota and all. Then sports like football, cricket, basketball, badminton, tennis etc are running good in my college.

Hostel Facilities :

Best for single rooms but as there is no rooms available then you have to stay double for starting 2 years and rest three years you can take your single room and rooms are not too big but good enough and there 6 bathrooms and 6 toilets on every floor

External Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumnis and the senior students are much helpful to us. They provide enough support for each and every aspects. Recently three of our alumnis have passed the IAS examination and they made a visit in our college which was must inspiring and interesting to all of us.

Admission :

I got the admission through Jee mains gateway. There are total three gateway to get admission in UPES, Dehradun. 1. UPESAT, entrance exam 2. JEE MAINS gateway merit 3. BOARD EXAM merit I have choosen B. tech cse with specialization in Open source and open standards.

Faculty :

Faculty is so good as best is biology and chemistry and every profeesor except two three all are so helpful and as we there should teacher who cares and most of faculty is graduate from top 100 colleges of world so there no doubt in there knowledge

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
