Remarks :
1-Like every college KIIT also has some dark sides but it is up to the students to which they look upon. 2-One can go for the good ones or drift toward the negative ones. 3-There are a lot of party hubs/pubs nearby.It depends upon the student where they prefer to go.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is extremely diverse ranging from all basic subjects in first year to specialisation in the following three years. The exam structure is a mid semester exam of 20 marks and an end semester exam of 60 marks and 20 marks for assignments and assessment throughout the semester.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities make KIIT famous which boasts of a 100% placement record and also ensure that they complete it. The college does not provide internships but does provide details of places where the internship can be done from.
College Events :
1-KIIT experiences a plethora of events round the year 2-Starting from MUN(Model United Nations) to Youth Parliaments to KIITFEST(Annual Techno-Cultural Fest of KIIT) 3-Kritarth is held year and is sort of a cultural fest. 4-A series of eminent personalities visit KIIT during these events and one can interact with them by participating in the events.
Fees and Financial Aid :
1-Scholarships are provided to board toppers 2-Scholarships are also provided to those who comes in merit lists in semester exams. 3-If one has enough proof to take in to confidence their poor economic background they can also approach for scholarship,provided they are good in academics too (if not ranlers though) 4-College helps to get loans passed from banks.
Hostel Facilities :
1-Yes I have opted Hostel Facilities(3 Bed /Non-AC) 2-Infrastructure is good enough. 3-(24*7) Support staff is present in the hostel 4-Hostel is completely aroundsafe(CCTVs present all ) 5- Hygeine is maintained 6-Mess facility is available.
Alumni/Alumna :
1-KIIT has a seperate alumni society to manage its huge alumni network 2-Many of our seniors are in good positions in MNCs.They regularly visit campus and interact with the students 3-Some of our seniors are also bureaucrats(IAS/IPS) too. 4-There are many successful entrepreneurs from KIIT too.
Admission :
I give the entrance exam. After that I got rank card via mail nd via courier on that it is written that your rank has been selected for get admission. Then I planned to took admission in this college.
Faculty :
The faculty ranges from experienced teachers to new teachers in the profession who try their utmost to impart knowledge to the students. The teachers are very helpful and always willing to guide the students
