Remarks :
IIT Nagpur is definitely the college of our dream. From the extra curriculum activities to the friendly nature of the faculty. Every thing at the college is a treat to the students. The hostels are also very hygienic and student friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college gives a great emphasis on machine and practical knowledge. Honestly, the stress of examination in IIT is a real thing but the syllabus is broken down into small pieces which really help all of the students to focus on the course.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides 100% internships to the students of final year. Also, a good amount of stipend is provided to the students. The maximum stipend is provided of Rs. 40000 and the minimum is of Rs. 14000. Placements are often given by prestigious companies including government companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
We all are aware of the fee structure of IITs and we also know that the fee is quite high according to other private colleges but if you avail different scholarships you will be able to afford the fee. The overall fee for B.Tech is about Rs. 2.25 lac.
Campus Life :
Three major activities takes place in IIT Nagpur. The activities are National Level Technical Event which is called "TantraFiest", the National Level Cultural Event known as "Abhivyakti" and last but not the least the Institute Annual Sports Gathering. A large number of students take part in all of the events.
Hostel Facilities :
hostel facilities are provided separately for boys and girls. Also, the hostel fee is about 1.5 lac per year which is payable in two installments. The condition and mess food of the hostel is quite good quality.
Admission :
To take admissions in this college that is the IIT Nagpur, I first had to go through the entrance test. In this entrance test, I scored average score and luckily got into the cut off list of the college. I then went through the documentation process and finally landed in the campus.
Faculty :
The faculty of the college is very informative and also trustworthy. We can ask for help at any given point of time which makes this faculty very friendly towards all of the students. To teach all of the students, the teachers always takes a practical approach and the lectures are often based on research.
