Remarks :
Positive- it's a ragging free clean and green campus. The seniors are friendly and the campus is fully wifi campus. We are also provided with top class laptops in the college. The college has the Asia largest library. Negative- there are not good stationary shops inside the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good enough. As it is a deemed university so the syllabus and course is very well organised. The exams are conducted twice in a semester. One is mid sem and the other is end sem.
Placement Experience :
The college provides a student with good placement and job opportunity. Yes the college provides internship but as I am a first year student so I won't be able to explain the overall experience and stipend.
College Events :
Kiit feast KIIT FEST is a thouree day Annual techno-cultural college fest of KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. It is one of the largest Festivals of the Eastern paradise of India. The year 2019 will witnessed the 6th edition of KIITFEST and shall take place from 16th to 18th of December with the Theme, ‘TRIBAL PRIDE’ to make more people aware of the rich history and cultural significance of the tribes in India
Fee Structure And Facilities :
1800000 for four years including hostel and mess It's a bit expensive than other colleges. Our hostel fees is 28000 And mess charge is 17000 Overall it's a good college And the fees we pay is worth it.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Scholarship is provided to students who are in top 100 ranking in KIITEE exam. The college also provides loan facility. It has connection with many banks. The Scholarship amount is of 10000 is given to the top rank holders of the KIITEE exam.
Campus Life :
There are many extracurricular activities like gym, swimming, lawn Tennis, football, cricket, hockey, tennis, chess etc. The college provides us with very many opportunity. All that depends upon the student whether he wants to grsb the opportunity or not.
Hostel Facilities :
I am staying in non ac hostel. It's very good and am having a nice stay here. Our hostel is better than other college hostels. It seems as if we are in afive star hotel. The cleanliness of hostel is taken care.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is very strong. They hepl us by giving noted and other materials. The seniors are very helpful and kind enough. There is no ragging environment. They are always there to help us when we need them.
Faculty :
The faculty of kiit is excellent. Maximum of them are phd holders and are very experienced in their field of teaching. Their teaching skills are of top level. than 2500 academic and research staff, many leaders in their fields with international reputations provide stimulating learning environment and excellent standards of teaching. Even though it is a self-financing institution, KIIT is a well structured and decentralized organization. It is the only self-financing institution in the country where top functionaries, including Chancellor and Vice Chancellor are renowned academicians. The quality is amply demonstrated by the patents held by various faculty members, the research grants coming from various agencies both in India and abroad, national and international conferences, symposiums and workshops held here and hundred percent placement records.
