The Garden of opportunities

Remarks :

There are lot of positives in CET. Accessibility to every solution. Helping Faculties and Alumnis. Placement opportunities. Events conducted in and by College etc. The negetive I feel in college is mainly Aesthetics. The college campus can be made more beautiful and Modern with a little bit more care and thought.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Course structure is really good. Overall the structure is not hectic, but in some rare cases some of the section may induce more pressure on Students. Still the course is well structured to gain essential knowledge as the course progress.

Placement Experience :

Placements and Job opportunities are the most important attractions of CET. A lot of Companies, like more than 20 companies were available for Electronics department itself. And More than 90% of my colleagues were placed in well known companies with Salaries ranging from 3. 5LPA to 20LPA and Overall Highes package in college at my time was 48LPA for CSE.

College Events :

Again, These are the other important attractions of CET. There are a handful of events conducted by College like DhwanI- The biggest Cultural Fest conducted by students. DrishtI- The Techfest similar to standards of Dhwani. Sargam- Inter- year cultural fest. Disha- inter Departmental Cultural Fest. CETEX- A big Technical Fest conducted by Faculties and more.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is really low compared to others, it's just ?6700 per month including everything and If using Hostel/Bus services, there is seperate fee which is also realy low I was a Day- scholar, so I travelled by College bus and It cost me only ?2000 for 6months for travelling 18km one side daily.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I haven't availed any scholarships for studying but I know a lot of friends who had fee waivers and fixed Amount scholarships. So I guess I may not be able to give necessary information regarding the same topic.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is nearly 50:50 in entirec college and the campus accomodates a large number of students in good harmony. There is a solution for everything in the campus itself, whether it's sports, Arts, Technical or anything. Overall the Campus is really peaceful enjoyable and good for students who want to achieve greater heights in life. The same will be evident if one check the list of Alumnis of the college.

Alumni/Alumna :

It's a college with an amazing alumni networks including multiple CEOs, CTOs etc and lot of people working in really high respectable positions. They all helped a lot in making College like as of now and Still helps and funds in lots of ways. The TOTs conducted by them are also really appreciated.

Admission :

The admission was purely from merit list from Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination, And Electronics was one of the most sought after courses in CET, Which is the Best engineering college in Kerala. Usually Students securing top ranks are admit to CET as, it will be the first choice of students seeking admission to engineering colleges in Kerala.

Faculty :

The facilities are well qualified and Most of them will really help in guiding students in gaining knowledge. Overall with a bit of self study and Help from Faculties, the course can be easily completed.

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students. The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.

Placement Experience:

There are many programs to improve our placement capabilities. These programs provide spoken English classes and PMKVY Yojana classes. S6 and S7 students have the opportunity to attend placement sessions. The average package that the companies usually provide is 200,000 per annum. Usually, 10-15 students get placed in the first session, and the rest will be considered in the other upcoming sessions. I'm planning to do ethical hacking course after the degree
