Remarks :
Positive- good placement, good infrastructure, good hostels, good campus, helpful teachers, good environment. Negative- Not good for mechanical, civil, electrical branch, faculty have problem with their communication skills.
Course Curriculum Overview :
They desiged all the courses very well and in the systematically way.if you want to do research,they provide you extra time in labs which you are needed.the labs are also well designed and all the components are available in the lab.
Placement Experience :
KIIT provides very good job opportunities for the students. Every year above 100 companies visit in kiit for campus placement. Big companies like Adobe, SAP, Amazon, ZS, delloite, Robert Bosch etc. Are hiring many of students from kiit with very decent package.
College Events :
There are many events like MUN and KIIT fest are 2 biggest events which kiit is conducting every year.In 2017 KIIT MUN is the largest MUN in Asia. and KIIT fest also the biggest fest of North India after spring fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Its quite expensive. If you are higher middle class,then you definitely afford studying in kiit. You have to spend above 20 lakhs in kiit for 4 years. So its bit higher. If you get CS, IT, ETC branch,then kiit is worthit in terms of placement.
Fees and Financial Aid :
If anyone secure under 100 rank in KIITEEE. They will surely get the scholarship of upto 90%. Also if you cleared IIT-JEE advanced. They will get admission on the basis of their rank. They also provide loan paper at the time of councelling.
Campus Life :
Gender Ratio depends upon the branch. CS, IT, Electronics have 50-50 boy, girl ratio. There are many workshops that is conducted in KIIT like in every month 1-2 workshop is conducted and that is very beneficial for the students. There are many societies like cultural, tech etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I rate my hostel 8/10. Good in sense of infrastructure.kiit provides very good hostel for both a/c and non a/c hostelers. Maximum hostels are 3 bedded but fewer are 2 beded.if anyone opted 3 bedded non a/c,they have to pay 21k per sem. If anyone opted 3 bedded a/c,they have to pay 41k.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes. Seniors are very helpful and humble. They help you out on every circumstances. But you have make good relationship with your seniors. You also do projects with your seniors. If you have good relation with senior. They will help for your placement and all.
Admission :
On the basis of KIITEEE rank. They call students for the councelling and according to the rank of KIITEEE. You will get your branch. They also have management quota,in management quota the fees is bit higher.
Faculty :
Faculties are good. They are helpful and all the facilities is qualitied from IITs, NITs and IISCs.the major faculty is from odisha.so they have some language problem. They do not have fluent communication skill.
