Remarks :
KIIT UNIVERSITY has now been given the Institute of Eminence award which makes it a world class university. The placement here is very excellent. The academics is excellent. The college also focuses on extra curricular activities. The college also helps the students to follow their passion and excel in that field.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is excellent. It is very student friendly. Students get full support from the university to do their research work. The exams are not very frequent. Overall the normal day in KIIT UNIVERSITY is chill.
Placement Experience :
The placement here is very excellent. It is almost 100% except for the students with backlog. The college provides internship. Nearly 35-40% students get internship with an average stipend of 6000. The major companies providing internship are internshala, high radius etc.
College Events :
Their are various cultural and technical events conducted in the university. Most of the festivals are celebrated in KIIT University. KIIT FEST is conducted every year in which Bollywood stars perform and it is one of the biggest events in the eastern India.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees is a bit expensive. It is about 18 lakhs which constitutes hostel and mess fee. Hostel fees for non ac is 28000 and for ac is 50000. Mess fee is around 17500. Although the fees is worth it. You have to pay 1000 rupees per semester for exam registration.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The student who gets the maximum cgpa from each branch gets scholarship. However their is no scholarship for general students. The college does not give any kind of loan facility. Some of the students from KISS are given scholarship but no scholarship is given to normal students in general.
Campus Life :
The labs are very excellent. The sports facility in KIIT is the best among all the universities in India. Each sport is free for every student. Their are different fashion societies and many other societies in the university. Their is no gender or religion based discrimination in the university.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel infrastructure is excellent. The rooms are well furnished and is very comfortable. The rooms are sharing. The hostel seats are very sufficient however in case hostel seats are few, their are options for PG's which is a bit expensive in that case. The average rental per month is around 8000.
Alumni/Alumna :
The experience with the college seniors is very good. They are very friendly. Every seniors easily interact with the juniors. Their is no sort of ragging done in the campus. The seniors here are very good and supporting. They also help in studies and any other matter.
Admission :
I got admission through entrance exam of KIIT university which is conducted every year. KIIT University is a place with excellent placement a world class campus with excellent faculties which makes it a world class university. This made me choose this university for engineering course.
Faculty :
The faculties here are awesome. All are very experienced and well qualified. Most of the facilities are from IIT and other respected universities of India and abroad. All the faculties have great knowledge in their subject. Most of them are very student friendly and support the students in their academics as well as extra curricular activities
