College Review

Remarks :

There are some positive remarks of this college 1. College is located in the Middle of the city. 2. College is easily connected by a metro station. 3. College has a wonderful infrastructure. 4. Well equipped laboratory There are some negative remarks as well 1. Not experienced faculty 2. Dress code on some days 3. Restriction on certain type of clothes they even banned sleeveless dresses

Course Curriculum Overview :

The B.tech course is like any other B and C class College. All focused here was to score good marks only. Throughout the semester they keep giving assignment which they used to evaluate for your internal marks. There are exam after every two weeks first there is first sessional exam then second sessional then internal practical exam then external practical exam after that finall end term theory examination. During vacation time they need you to learn a few software like for me as a civil engineering student I had learn 3 software i.e. Auto CAD , rabit structure and Stadd pro during three vacations.

Placement Experience :

College does has placement and internship cell but they are dormant. Almost 90% of students don't get placement in college. Only a few companies visit campus for placement but doesn't offer you much, average package is around 3-4lakh per annum.

College Events :

This is something you won't get disappointed. Throughout the year there is always some event going in the college. There are many societies which keep organising events from time to time. Main attraction is the Annual fest which is generally organised in the month of January or February , it is three day long fest which has many events and main attraction is star night in which some celebrity is called to perform like in 2017 they called Milind Gaba to perform.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Average annual college fee is around ?100000 , which comes out to be around 4 lakh for 4 your course duration. I think it is expensive. Besides that you have to pay for many other expenses. Like I already mentioned that we have to learn software in vacation which is an overhead cost paid by us in addition of our annual fees. They demand whole annual fee in the starting of the session however you can get some time to submit the fees if you summit some amount in starting.

Fees and Financial Aid :

College doesn't offer any scholarship/loan to any student studying in the college. however Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers some scholarship to some students. And taking of loans College neither help you get the loan nor they provide any loan. For loan you have to convince bank by yourself.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are good. Like there are many societies which you can join like Theatre society, Nukkad natak society. Sport teams, Singing society, dance society etc. These are good for extra curricular activities. If you're into sports then you can give trial held at starting of the session for various teams which represents College in different tournaments.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is good they keep you in contact they call you for alumni meeting held after a few years. Seniors are helpful they always help when you ask them to. They help you in your college project, assignment, exams etc.

Admission :

Admission in this college is based on an entrance exam which is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi. After scoring good rank in entrance you are called for counselling session where you are asked to fill your preferences and after that a college and course is allocated based on your merit.

Faculty :

This is the most disappointing thing about this college, faculty are not experienced and that too keeps changing from time to time. Some are good but some are just m.tech freshers who doesn't have much experience and knowledge. Some faculty are well experienced but there are only a few of them.

Placement stats are great cause at least you can have 15 LPA as average and nowdays it is even higher around 18 to 20 LPA. Internships are also fine and all you have to do is skills that can compete with your peers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is really good. It helped me a lot to know what all skills i need to get a good job and help me understand the industry. I've leanrt a lot of soft skills. The only things that dissapoints me is the frequent quizzes and assingments which doenst allow students to do self studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course helps to prepare students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits is equally crucial. well the institute needs to improve in some areas, like the timing of exams should be carefully planned in order to reduce students' stress and the difficulty should challenge students without being overly daunting. A semester in IIT Delhi is nearly of 4 months during which they conduct a mid sem and end sem exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As AI came into our daily use, it has been a highly spreading skill that is making a lot of jobs in the market and i do have a major interest in this field. As this is my first year so nothing has been taught yet about AI but in upcoming years or maybe just next year onwards thing might get started. Exams are held in three terms Mid term 1,2 and End Term which are not much hard to score marks.

IIIT Delhi provides good on campus placement offers, but I guess due to recession the placement were worst last year. Otherwise the college has above 90% placements in each branch. Enough companies come to recruit here but you have to be skilled enough to qualify for the placement. CSSS and CSD are the worst branches in terms of placement here, but not that much as compared in general.
