It is Tier 1 College in India. Established in 1918, Shifted from Lahore and now in Chandigarh. Sports facilities and grounds. Ample space for different events such as PECFEST

Course Curriculum Overview :

All curriculum is supported by the practical labs. Cover all industry related topics. Live projects are to be submitted. 6 months Industrial training and industrial your is included. Programming languages such as C,C++,Java,.net are taught. Management courses are also available.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement and internship opportunities are ample. I have given interviews for as many as 6 companies during my College period. Companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs,JP Morgan came to our campus.

College Events :

PECFEST is also celebrated every year in our college. Technical fest is also celebrated. There are various clubs such as Dramatics club, Speakers Association club, Hindi Editorial board,NSS,NCC, Inter-departmental sports tournament, motivational speaker events

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Every semester you have to submit a draft of 37500 in the name of director of the college. Now online fees deposit module has also been introduced. There is a 5000 security fees which we need to submit at the time of admission. You need to buy a laptop to attend the college labs.

Fees and Financial Aid :

No I didn't availed any scholarship or education loan for my college education. Scholarship are given to meritorious students on maintaining good score through 3 years

Campus Life :

Campus life is very happening. Every event is celebrated such as Holi, PECFEST,TECH FEST,Sports competitions,IEEE competitions,SAASC organized debates. Diversity was there people from outside Chandigarh were also given admission. For every 10 boys there 6 girls.

Alumni/Alumna :

It has huge alumni network spread over various companies and continents. Start-ups,MNC they are everywhere and very supportive.

Admission :

I was an extra ordinary sportsman who represented Chandigarh for National and international tournaments in basketball. So there are 8 seats for sportsperson in each branch. Otherwise now entrance exam and 12th marks both are considered while giving admission.

Faculty :

Faculty is well trained and equipped with good infrastructure. Alumni of IIT's and IIM's make us teach. There are also online lectures from IIT directly given to the students. There are mentors for entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship cell is also there. In practical labs there are PhD students to guide us.

Chandigarh University Adventure

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure was very good according to me as they gave extra classes for the placements like soft skill classes and aptitude classes every week which helped me very much to express myself and prepare well for placement and talking about companies from 2nd year onwards companies started comming and everyone can seat in the exams but if you have back papers then they don't allow to seat in placement exams. I got placement in my 4th year in CTS.

From 7th semester u will sit in the placement cycle If I talk about this year then companies like Microsoft,Goldman Sachs ,chegg, Uber,, McKinsey etc visited Around 40-50 companies have visited till now. For highest package it's for Microsoft ig this year 53l And average package for software companies is around 12 lakhs Percentage of students getting placed is very low this year Around 30-40 % placed till now and this cycle continues till May end About my plans well I m preparing for govt examination

A comprehensive Review of Chandigarh University: Opportunities, Campus Life, and Future Prospects.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in 6th semester but the final placements is in 7th and 8th semesters. CU has strong placements record, especially for computer Science Engineering(CSE) students. The HIGHEST package is 54.50 LPA (domestic) 2 crore (international) average package is 5-7 LPA for CSE gradutes.in my University boasts a placement rate of over 95% for CSE students, making it one of its strongest displines. The companies visited or offers for students are Microsoft,Google, IBM, Amazon etc. If your placemnts not taking in any companies you can go for higher studies llikes master's degree.

Chandigarh University maybe a good place to come for no stress(no academic stress) if you have above 75% ATTENDANCE
