Remarks :

There is both positive and negative points in every college and so in this case also. It's upto us how we make our life progressive and successful. The market near the college campus fulfill all the necessary requirements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course was issued by MCI. Exams are conducted at the end of semester. Except in the 1st year where part completion tests are also conducted which are necessary to keep the student in touch with the topic. Current pattern may b changed due to the dissolution of MCI.

Placement Experience :

Yes, there is an internship program of a period of 12 months. As all other medical colleges the admission for post graduation is done on the basis of a national exam that is NEET- PG. On papers, the government must give 17000/- as monthly stipend. But there is no increment in the amount recieved and the interns are still getting 7000/- per month.

College Events :

The no. Of holidays provided by the college administration are less. Major events like Republic day, Independence day, Gandhi jayanti, janmashtmi, dandiya night are celebrated officially. Unofficial in the hostels we celebrate holi and birthdays. There is a college fest named SMCT & Stimulus conducted every year. It includes all the sports and cultural events including painting, dancing, singing, poetry and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is very nominal. For a general category candidate you have to pay 30000/- anually if you want a room in the hostel(6000/-). At the time of admission you have to pay additional security charges.

Fees and Financial Aid :

There is a scholarship offer for the students whose parents' annual income satisfy the minimum requirement. I don't know the exact amount. There is no loan facility offered by the college administration.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities like labs are useful to learn things practically. Sports events are conducted only once in a year during the college fest that is SMCT. Our college has a cricket stadium of its own where the events are conducted

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel life is worth experiencing. As it is a government college, the condition of the hostel is not excellent. During the 1st 18 months you will be allowed a room in sharing with a person. After that you will b allotted a single room(in case of girls hostel). Mess charges are not included in the college fees.

Alumni/Alumna :

The donation by the aumini network is of great use for the college maintenance. There help is also needed for the conduction of the college fest. Seniors are really necessary for a good living in the hostel. The help us a lot academically as well as non- academically. The seniors are the best part of the college.

Admission :

I got the admission from the UP merit rank list of NEET UG 2017. Required documents are adhaar card, 10th and 12th marksheet, migration certificate, conduct certificate, neet result, proof of residency in UP. These are must and some other variable requirements can be found on the updgme page. After the submission of documents there will be medical tests conducted and the reports are submitted followed by the fees. And now you are done.

Faculty :

Faculty give there 100%. But as we not all are perfect. They will help you on your doubts. The junior residents (JRs) give there best and help the students a lot academically as well as non- academically.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is overrated no doubt but at the end it all worth it when you treat the patient. Currently NMC guidelines are clinically directed but the way college fulfills it are not up to the guidelines. After doing MBBS in this college you are not that much confident to prescribe any medication independently. Education here is more theoretical than practical. College can improve it by giving more practical knowledge on real patients. Due to lots of junior residents, MBBS students get less chance to perform any clinical activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't think I really need to say something about the relevance of mbbs as course. You become a doctor after completing your cumbersome 5 year that itself is very relevant. You come so many different types and flavours of people during this time. You just need to enjoy the process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is although good but should focus more on practical than theory as the course targets on field work . There should be more practical based teaching for easy learning and the ratio of practical exam should increase

Course Curriculum Overview:

My curriculum is a study of real life where you're handling a whole life in your hands . You have to deal with them beside your ego and emotion. It prepares us for the real world . However, I think ENT and Optha should move back to 3rd year to reduce the load of 4th year. The frequency of examination are once in 2.5 months but you get only a month or 20 days gap between your PU and proffs. Proffs are do or die ,which I find most difficult.

Course is relevant and comprehensive which allows the students to prepare themselves according to the needs of today's world. As the curriculum deals with the learning of modern medicine and various aspects of medical science so I got influenced to choose this course. Latest curriculum also prepare us for various postgraduate entrance examinations and building a foundation for speciality learnings.
