Fee Structure And Facilities :

Since it is a government funded college, the fee structure of the college is feasible. However, it is even less for the students belonging to the reserved categories like OBC, SC, ST. All the students can afford it provided they clear the entrance examination.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The scholarships recognize the merit and talent of students. Students may apply for the Scholarships at the beginning of the academic year. College may offer a scholarship to a deserving candidate under the following categories. College / University Merit Scholarships. Students belonging to the economically weaker sections. Merit cum means based scholarships are also awarded. Merit & National Scholarships for brilliant students under Central & State Govt.

Campus Life :

The Institute library has a vast collection of books and journals related to medical science and other similar areas. There are 8000 books which include the textbooks for the undergraduate courses and 326 subscribed e-journals of various national and international publishers. It also has dictionaries, magazines, documents in AYUSH, monographs and research books. They have a browsing area, Kiosk drop box, reading space, wifi, audio-visual room, and seminar room. The auditorium is octagonal in shape and has a seating capacity of 1000. The amphitheater is next to the auditorium and used during the open-air events. There are 14 guest houses with internet and two of the rooms are suites.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of the college is very strong. The college organizes alumni meet and invites all the alumni for the interactive sessions and talks. The seniors are very helpful and interactive and guides the juniors in the best possible way.

Admission :

I have appeared for the AIIMS entrance examination. After this, the cut off is announced. The College Cut-off is the minimum marks prescribed by the selection board for the admission of students. Merit list is designed on these Cutoff scores. Aspirants who apply for the Institute needs to clear the Cutoff for various courses.

Faculty :

The college provides a good ratio of well trained and highly educated faculty members equipped with all the modern technology. It also provides sufficient numbers of non-technical staff to provide an ambience of self-learning to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MBBS.it is quite a rigorous course with lot of comprehensiveness and workload. Relevance to the course is there. The curriculum is pretty important as it trains us well enough for the outside world and how to deal with it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course obviously has everything to make a good doctor. Being a doctor will place you in emergency situations sometimes and we are taught well how to deal with them. Although as MBBS doctors the spectrum of patients we see are limited. Its only after post-grad that u can get to see more patients.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum is one the few best developed ones which provides real time problem solving at an actual working facility. The medical college is a part of a tertiary care government hospital to provide , train and allow students to apply the knowledge acquired to utilise to treat the patient under the supervision and guidance of the faculty cum doctors at the hospital. The student feels the pride and responsibility of becoming a doctor and the special attribute the profession holds as a life savior of the society. The curriculum is constantly under modification and scrutiny under the nmc with several reforms over the past decades. Few aspects where more improvement might be done is the more clinical teaching at the initial years of course., which is currently started from 3-4 year. The exams are held often frequently with an internal assessment every 3-4 months followed by a pre- university and university exams each year. The exams hold a difficulty level of above average, making only the ones genuinely preparing for it to pass the exam. The passing percentage is 50 for each exam individually for practical and theoretical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course and you do need skills to treat patients as it may become a matter of life and death. The teaching curriculum is as per the guidelines of NMC which is a central body and consists again of great doctors with reputation all over India. So, I don't really think that I can really suggest any means to improve that.
