My college

Remarks :

College helps in every matters related to acadamic upgradation of students, great ambience, good air, handfull snack bars. But the college being a Christian ecosystem limits freedom to girls in hostels. The college canteen need to be improved and hostel food can get be better.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is good and teachers are well experienced. The infrastructure of the college is well defined and has the ambience for a student to learn efficiently. Biotechnology lab infrastructure are yet to improve to a higher standard but the available equipment are upto date.

Placement Experience :

Placements are available in our college and the Human resource department gives placement training session toward the last year which prepares the students to be ready to face the companies and firms offering jobs. Group discussion classes are frequently conducted.

College Events :

Arts festival: An event where cultural and on stage programs are conducted which is generally 2 days. This included programmes like group dance, group song, instrumental competitions, and several other programs People for outside are not allowed Tech fest: An event where the knowledge of individual departmental are put into work into amazing games and events. There are 6 departments where each department has its own events and games. People from outside are allowed to participate in these events and games. Sports and games: The sports day is a general sports day conducted similar to all the colleges. The infrastructure of the ground are well maintained to conduct a very great sports event. Sports is conducted in one day. Other games and events like football, basketball, volleyball,shuttle/badminton,throwball (girls) are conducted in seperate days. Hostlers day: This is an event hosted for the hostelers and also as a send of to the final year hostel students. Food for hostelers day are arranged by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is leaning towards the expensive side but it also depends on the scholarships and other facilities provided by the college. The college helps poor students to learn by reducing their fees and providing them with scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Several scholarships are provided in the college were one includes for the girl childs where they can avail it by applying online. Loan facility are provided for below poverty students and students. The college gives enough information to students on how to avail these scholarships and loan facilities and will be guided if approached

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are very good occasionally and sometimes disappointing. The college doesn't allow any late night programs and maximum limit to programmes are 10pm. Financial support from the college for events are less and lacks the enthusiasm. Labs are well maintain and clean. Sports events are moderatly arranged but limits to one day and other games like volleyball, football and etc are conducted after the college which makes the day scholars hard to take part in. In general programmes conducted are very good but there are scopes to improve

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is a 3 story building (boys) and all the years reside in the same hostel but seperated by floors. The hostel is curfew time is at 7 and strictly follows the rule. Hostel infrastructure is good and the frequently kept clean by cmc workers. Each floor contains 2 bathroom area on two corner of the bulding where several urinal/toilet and bathing rooms are available Hostel food is satisfactory and drinking water is available in every floors.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumini network is weak and lack connection but when approached are ready to help and assistance to queries can be expected. Several aluminies are settled abroad and financial assistance for departmental programmes are provided occasionally.

Admission :

I got through NIR seat- (A payment of 3 lakh initially along with the yearly tuition fees). The tuition fees is RS 75000 and an extra RS 5000 for extra curricular activities like art's festival, tech fest, sports and etc.

Faculty :

Faculties are well trained and professional. The approach to students are friendly as well as guiding.Projects and acadamic competition are well promoted and gives every support needed. College atmosphere are interpersonal communication between students and teachers are very helpful to move a smooth life within the college.

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students. The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.

Placement Experience:

There are many programs to improve our placement capabilities. These programs provide spoken English classes and PMKVY Yojana classes. S6 and S7 students have the opportunity to attend placement sessions. The average package that the companies usually provide is 200,000 per annum. Usually, 10-15 students get placed in the first session, and the rest will be considered in the other upcoming sessions. I'm planning to do ethical hacking course after the degree
