Remarks :

College is good if you are in cse otherwise you have to look for higher studies placements are good for cse only not for other branches. It is more of a cultural college so on the technical parts you have to look for yourself.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are pretty old. Not upto date. Its all rot learning. And people are nudged just on the mark sheets. Very less practical knowledge is given. Students learn all of it themselves by taking guidance of seniors.

Placement Experience :

Yes we have 16 weeks compulsory internship in 6th sem. We have a dedicated office for internships and placements and it is one of the highest comparable to various IIT’s. Cse gets highest package of around 42L

College Events :

Every club or society had their events which they organize. Other than that pecfest happens which is a techno cultural fest and sees participation of over 40000 people from different colleges. Its a happening college all around the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Being government college it is very feasible and affordable both the hostel fees and the academic fees. Plus we are given scholarships if we are meritorious students. And reserved classes are made to pay very less fees.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Get good cgpa alumnis offer u scholarship. Other than that every sem topper in each branch and girls topper get scholarships. Plus reserved classes dont have to pay much fees. Rest other 3rd party instituitions provide scholarships as well.

Campus Life :

Yes sports are good we have football tennis basketball swimming pool gym athletics ground cricket ground. Plus really good bhangra and dramatics club. overall they sre worth it. Rest depends on interest of the person

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes seniors are pretty helpful , not sure about alumnis , alumnis of very old batches donate but hardly have an effect on currently studying students. The pecosa of college is working on strength ning the alumni network.

Admission :

Give jee mains and get branches according to rank. There is also reserved category and chandigarh quota reserved seats for the admission process. You put ur choice of colleges and then if u r selected in this college it shows the branch itll offer.

Faculty :

Faculty is okayish. There’s a lot of contractual faculty so thay undermines the teaching standards. Otherwise the college faculty is really helpful and tries to help in any way possible be it placements.

Chandigarh University Adventure

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure was very good according to me as they gave extra classes for the placements like soft skill classes and aptitude classes every week which helped me very much to express myself and prepare well for placement and talking about companies from 2nd year onwards companies started comming and everyone can seat in the exams but if you have back papers then they don't allow to seat in placement exams. I got placement in my 4th year in CTS.

From 7th semester u will sit in the placement cycle If I talk about this year then companies like Microsoft,Goldman Sachs ,chegg, Uber,, McKinsey etc visited Around 40-50 companies have visited till now. For highest package it's for Microsoft ig this year 53l And average package for software companies is around 12 lakhs Percentage of students getting placed is very low this year Around 30-40 % placed till now and this cycle continues till May end About my plans well I m preparing for govt examination

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in 6th semester but the final placements is in 7th and 8th semesters. CU has strong placements record, especially for computer Science Engineering(CSE) students. The HIGHEST package is 54.50 LPA (domestic) 2 crore (international) average package is 5-7 LPA for CSE gradutes.in my University boasts a placement rate of over 95% for CSE students, making it one of its strongest displines. The companies visited or offers for students are Microsoft,Google, IBM, Amazon etc. If your placemnts not taking in any companies you can go for higher studies llikes master's degree.

Chandigarh University maybe a good place to come for no stress(no academic stress) if you have above 75% ATTENDANCE
