Remarks :

College is very good.It leads in placements in the region.They also give interset in extr curicular activities.They support students in sports and also academically there are many ranks bagged by students in the university (VTU)level.The campus is large and every place is neately maintained.Sufficient staffs for students are alloted.Yhere are good transportation facility and also healthy food is provided in the college canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is very good.The course contains the industry level topics and some topics are not updated but still it is good.We have many industrial visits from our college related to the course.The college is very well equipped with labs and industry level standards.The exams are very neatly conducted and the process is very good.We have all online transactions for the payment of fees.

Placement Experience :

The college tries to provide interships and also I went to visit to UPCL powerplant.The process was very smooth.I went to powerplant and got the permission to attend.Then I had to provide the permission letter from college.They provide it and also suggest good ideas.

College Events :

The main event is Tiara tech fest which is a national level fest held in our college.It is two day fest with mant events and it is lot of fun.There is also Milan which is celebrated in the month of september it onam and janmastami is celebrated.It is also a ethnic day in our college.The local actors of manglore and yakshagana artist visit the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fess sturcture is nominal compared to other colleges.The fee breakup is as follows.The goverment fees is 56000 and we also have to pay college fees which comes around 18000.There is also a session called I point which is free of charge.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The college offres many scholarships to meritorious students.There is fee concession for all students through management quota who scores good marks in semester exams.There are many goverment sholarships for many students of different background.

Campus Life :

The activities conducted are food.Many workshops are held regularly.The labs are very well equipped and also state of art infrastructure.The sports event held is GO for Gold which is held in the month of February.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniour students are very friendly.They help us in studies There are many associations such as SAE,ISIE and clubs of various departmets and NSS and eco club etc.The alumni are in good position in various companies.There are some alumni who have started their own startups.

Admission :

I studied at MGM Pu college at udupi.I went to tutions for the entrance exams.I attempted the Karnataka common entrance test in the month of may 2017 and in the end of the mont I got the rank.My rank was 18504.I felt the rank is very less.Kcet was bit easy and also in cet the board marks of 50 percent will be added with the normal marks of cet and the aggregate is calculated.The alottment process was online.We also had mock allotment.After that we had to download the admission order and pay the fees of 56000 that is government fees and I went to college.The college was very beautifully maintained.My parents were also very happy to see the campus.It was neat and tidy.Then we had to go through some normal procedures.

Faculty :

Faculty are very helpful.They take interst in taking students to industries for visits.They also conduct workshops and also teach us beyond the syllbus topics.They are very good and when we have any doubts they clear it on the spot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cybersecurity curriculum in Dsu is designed to provide both theoretical foundations and practical experience in key areas such has security, linus and other related topics . With labs and workshops we get hands on experience on real world problems which help us during placement and internship . The faculty and the curriculum are up to date and help us learn the tools which are currently needed. Cybersecurity isn't just about IT it's also related to law(cybercrime laws),business(risk management) so introducing courses related to them can help students In cybersecurity certification is important so helping students to prepare for certification such has cissp, CompTIA and others can help students a lot Coming to the exams it's not that stressful we will have a month or two to prepare and me personally think 1 week is enough to clear it

Over 60% of students got placed this year. We have a very supportive place we get a placement of placement opportunities from the final year and the sixth seven semester as well Top companies such as Accenture, TCS amaedus Schneider electric Siemens JSW, Wipro Z scaler. The highest package was given by Z scaler of 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is fivelakhs.

Inside out of Presidency university

Placement Experience:

The placements at presidency university offers is average, the placements percentage is high but the packages are low, the highest was around 13L per Annum and average of around 3L per annum. Students are eligible for placements in third year, while having many opportunities for internships during the period of 4 years. There are various companies that visit our college for placements such as shell, tech Mahindra, dell, capgemini, and many more companies. My plan after degree is get a high paying job either through placements or self searched interviews

If students give thier maximum they will get it and the good part is, the college pushes us for placements and introduces many more things for good placements like placement programs.
