Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are very good even faculties are also good. With these courses, one can easily prepare for GATE. Exam structure: we have 2 sessionals exams (15 marks each) and end sem (50/60 marks) and practical also.

Placement Experience :

Yes, our college provides 6-month semester-long internships in either 7th or 8th semester. Currently, I am doing an internship only at TRDDC (Tata Research Development And Design Centre) Pune. Here I am getting job experience, how people work etc. I am also getting a stipend here.

College Events :

We celebrate many events in each semester. In odd semesters we celebrate our Technical Fest " TantraFiesta" and in even semesters we have our cultural event "Abhivyakti". They both are national-level events. We also have our college-level sports event "Institute gathering".

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are expensive for a middle-class family. Does it cost 1,12600? for 1 semester which is quite expensive and is the hostel fee is also expensive. I was a student of the first batch so that time fee was somewhat less compared to now.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Rajashri Shahu Maharaj scholarship is there. It depends on the caste category of the student If you are a general category student then you won't be eligible for the scholarship. SC/ST Category students get a full scholarship, whereas OBC student gets a 50% scholarship.

Campus Life :

Yes, we have labs in our college that include Computer labs, mechanical labs, electrical and electronic labs. They are good. For sports, we have a particular course in the 1st or 2nd semester, where we have to do Yoga and play outdoor as well as indoor games like badminton, volleyball, basketball, Table Tennis, carom, etc. Although we don't have proper ground on our campus, we can't play sports like football and cricket.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are not that good. Hostel Fee is quite high and even we don't have our own campus, so we have less space , we have to share our room with 4 others. Mess you can say OK but if you are paying that much fees then obviously it is not good.

External Expense : Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna :

I am a student of first batch of IIIT Nagpur, so I didn't have any seniors. But we help our juniors in studies and exams. So they are getting advantages. Ragging etc are strictly prohibited in my college.

Admission :

I got admission via JEE Marks and based on the AIR because it's a national-level college. I am a student of the CS department. My rank was 17669 so I got to this college. I had to go to NIT Allahabad for the verification process and in 3rd round, I got to this college.

Faculty :

We have some IIITN's faculties. But we also have some VNIT faculties, they are excellent. So overall faculties are good. You can always get connected to them. Most of them have done PHD from reputed colleges.

A glimpse into Kolhapur Institute of technology.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility for campus placements in Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) typically starts from the pre-final year, which is usually the 6th semester. There are very named tech companies which visit to the college like TCS,WIPRO,etc. Average package offered is around 6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed in placement drive is 90%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is very interesting course. Iam interested in this course. It is very easy to understand. There are two semesters in a year. All the facilities of our college is teaching well and understanding of the students are top of the bottom. Timing of the exam is around three hours. Extending time is not available.
