Remarks :

Overall experience is good though got to stay away from home for 4 years. The atmosphere inside campus is great and the people coming from various states are friendly. Every needed item is available within the campus, and barely a student needs to go outside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is great for student to get max knowledge of the course opted. Though the subjects in curriculum are good but the exam schedule for students is too much. A student is giving almost exam for each subject every month excluding surprise test taken by various faculties. Course curriculum and exam schedule aren't good together for student and hence needs re-examine the schedule.

Placement Experience :

Placement process in our college is overall good. Students are made to undergo coding training before placements so that they can easily crack company exams. Our college also gives classes to improve communication skills and theory knowledge from 1st year to 3rd year to make them ready for interviews. Thoughwe can work with faculties for various projects, our college doesn't provide internship.

College Events :

There are 2 main fests held in our college: MILAN and AARUUSH. Milan is cultural fest while Aaruush is techno-fest. Milan is held during feb-march while Aaruush is held during aug-sep. Also many festivals across the india are celebrated in the campus. Various workshops are also held from time to time.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Since it a private college and mostly government colleges have nearby high fees, fee structure is comparable to other as feasible though expensive. Unless someone's parents are rich or you have sports quota, one has to take up loan to bear the expenses.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Only if you are sports player of atleast state level, then the scholarship can be provided or else no scholarship is there. Regarding loan facility, one must talk to banks directly to apply for loan. Since our college has good reputation, the interest rates are low as well.

Campus Life :

Labs are really good if one wants to get practical experience. They are equipped with most frequently used equipments to carry out the practical work. Faculties at lab makes sure that no fault is present in equipments. Our college has various grounds and courts to play sports, tgough most of them are occupied by sports quota players.

Alumni/Alumna :

Through fests and various communities, seniors and juniors work together. Seniors are really helpful to juniors and even help them whenever possible. Seniors even guide them for future purposes as well. LinkedIn is the best option for alumni network if they got jobs. They can guide you for better job opportunities.

Admission :

I got admission after securing eligible rank in their entrance exam. Their entrance exam, SRMJEE is held days after JEE MAINS. It is an online exam in which person selects the right answer out of the options given in question. The exam was of 3 hours and an exam center was alloted to me. Once the results were declared, the eligible student must report to the main college and pay initial required fees to confirm seat. Rest can be paid online.

Faculty :

Faculty of our college are really great. Though some of them are really strict regarding tests and punctuality but they are still helpful to students. They exhibit great knowledge regarding the subject they teach and can clear almost any doubt of student.

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering.
