Remarks :

Great infrastructure facilities, great studying environment and students have freedom to make participate in extra curricular activities. Good experienced facilities are really a great strength. Institute should promote researches.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Good curriculum. It is better to add more options for electives. Better to increase the standard of exams. With giving more importance for practical knowledge. It is better to add some language course like english , german ,french.

Placement Experience :

Over 70 companies are visiting in college in each year. Branches like computer science and electronics and communication engineering branches have above 90 percentage placements. Internship opportunities are available for computer science branches.

College Events :

Sargam- cultural competition conducted in college in which each years competing with each other. Dhwani- cultural fest conducted by inviting many colleges and many proshows. It is the 2nd largest cultural fest in kerala.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Very feasible fee structure. Every student can study without any burden. Hostel facilities are low but it is given for students having low income and sc/st students. The total expence will less than 80k

Fees and Financial Aid :

Egrantz are available for students having low income for all category. Sc/st students can get a laptop for their studies. Students from backward cast can take textbooks and reference books from the library for a long period of time.

Campus Life :

Sports day is conducted in every year by competing every branch with each other. Football and cricket championship matches are conducted in every year. Groups like nss are very active in college and they will conduct many programs like blood donation camp

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted paying guest. I didn't got admission in college mens hostel. It has good facility. Each room having 2 occupance. Good mess facility. Have a big ground and jim facilities. Water facility and library is available.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Very good alumni strength. Every year alumni meets are happening and making good decision for the improvements of college. Many alumnies are helping in placements process. They are helping to bring good companies to college

Admission :

Got good rank in kerala entrance examination. Then i applied for allotment , got selected at 3rd round. After 3rd allotment certificate verification process was done. Checked everything after they ensured everything is right, I got selected

Faculty :

Over 100 faculty members are available. For each branch atleast 20 faculty members are available. Most of them have good knowledge and have good experience. Many are student friendly and many have good teaching skills

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
