VIT Chennai to Offer ACCA Integrated Qualifications with its New ISDC Collaboration; Check Details Here

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai will now be able to offer ACCA integrated qualifications with its new ISDC collaboration. 

This has been possible after VIT, Vellore decided to extend its collaboration with the International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC), to VIT Chennai.

As per sources, the partnership between VIT Vellore and ISDC has been in good terms since 2016 as both the organizations collaborated for various programs. 

In order to extend its partnership, a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by the pro-vice-chancellor of the VIT University, Vellore and the executive director - strategy & development at ISDC. 

Hence, VIT Chennai will begin the delivery of ACCA Integrated Qualifications with the new MoU in place.

Speaking about the collaboration, Professor VS Kanchana Bhaaskaran,Pro-Vice-Chancellor, VIT University expressed his happiness of partnering with ISDC to its Chennai campus. 

He said that ISDC has a good track-record of bringing international programmes, which strengthens the knowledge of the students at par with the global standards. 

Now with this partnership, the institute is looking forward to offering unique and specialised programmes with an objective to upskill the students' knowledge and expertise while they're pursuing their courses, Bhaaskaran said. 

Further, the aim of extending the partnership is to open up multitudinous global employment opportunities and engraving industry readiness. As a result, the institute's aim of exposing its students to a global level will be fulfilled with the help of the partnership, he concluded.

Tom Joseph, Executive Director - Strategy & Development at ISDC, said that the MoU will ensure that exclusive training sessions, workshops, and seminars are frequently organized for the VIT students. 

These exclusive events will assist the VIT students to inculcate with higher knowledge and skills to be future-ready. ISDC is hoping for more successful collaborations with the VIT, in the future, Tom added.

Meanwhile, the partnership between VIT and ISDC will enhance the students' experience and equip them with the necessary knowledge relating to industry-oriented analytic tools, strategies, and management. 

Students will also get an insight of an in-depth practical training on various subjects like global accounting, taxation, risk management, etc.
