IIIT Nagpur Join Hands with MSME for Conducting 5 Day Workshop on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Acumen in Engineering Education”

Micro Small Medium Enterprises, Nagpur has collaborated with the Indian Institute of Information Technology Nagpur to conduct a one-week national workshop. The theme of the workshop will be “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Acumen in Engineering Education” and will be held from October 5 to 9. 

The conveners of the workshop will be Dr O G Kakde, Director, IIIT, Nagpur, Dr A G Kothari, Dean, IIIT, Nagpur, and Dr Deepmala Baghel, Assistant Professor, Basic Sciences (Humanities) IIIT, Nagpur.

Workshop Agenda

The workshop will focus on different dimensions of innovations and entrepreneurship insights. The workshop also aims at imparting basic and advanced concepts, knowledge, skills, and challenges in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation to the participants.

 The primary focus will be on the following areas: 

• Innovations in engineering education systems
• IP and incubation in Technical Academic Institution
• Creativity and Opportunity recognition
• Online marketing linkages for start-ups 
• Practical concerns for Entrepreneurship and MSME policies.

 IIT, IIM Professors to Conduct Sessions

Professors from premier institutes of India will take workshop sessions. These institutes include the Indian Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Management, National Institute of Industrial Engineering, MSME-DI, Nagpur, MCED Nagpur, and professionals from the IT industry.

The workshop is free of cost andE-certificates will be awarded to all participants who will attend workshops for all 5 days.
