IIIT Manipur PhD Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is July 11

New Delhi: IIIT Manipur is inviting applications for its PhD programme for the academic year 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, iiitmanipur.ac.in. The last date to apply is July 11, 2022.

IIIT Manipur offers its PhD courses in various specialisations that include Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mathematics, and Linguistics. The institute is conducting admissions for the part-time and full-time PhD program for the July-November 2022 session. 

Admission to the PhD programme of IIIT Manipur is granted on the basis of a valid GATE score. It is also compulsory to have an M.Tech or a relevant degree to secure admissions. As a part of the selection process candidates need to appear in the personal interview round conducted by the university.

IIIT Manipur PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a master’s degree in the relevant specialisations.
• A minimum CGPA/CPI of 7.0 or 70% of marks both in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees is mandatory.
• In the case of SC/ST /differently-abled candidates, the CGPA/CPI is 6.0 or 60% with GATE/NET qualified.

IIIT Manipur PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection to the PhD programme will be based on the academic performance at the UG/PG level, GATE/NET/SLET /SLET qualifications.
• Shortlisted candidates will also be called for a personal interview round.
• The final admission would be granted on the basis of the Project Staff or Self Finance category. 

IIIT Manipur PhD Admission 2022: How to Apply?

• Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IIIT Manipur at iiitmanipur.ac.in
• Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.
• Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1000 and submit the Application form. 
• Step 5: Applicants must also print out the application form for all future needs.

If the candidates are registering offline, then the application form has to be downloaded from the website, duly filled, signed, and sent through a speed post to HoS, Academic, IIIT Senapati, Manipur, Mantripukhri, Imphal – 795002, Manipur.
