The (Hons) Medicine degree is offered by the University College Dublin. The main hospitals associated with our programme are St Vincent?s University Hospital and the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. In addition there are more than 20 other training hospitals and more than 100 primary care practices that facilitate your learning. Upon graduation, you must complete one year as an intern to gain full registration with the Irish Medical Council. Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Students require International A Level: At least three subjects at A Level Grade C or better and Grade C, or better, in the remaining subjects at GCSE;  a total of six distinct subjects are required.
  • International Baccalaureate: A1, A2, or B: 5 at Higher Level (4 at either level if presenting IB through English).
  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL or PTE scores.
