To work in Ireland, students must have a valid job offer of 60,000 EUR (53.92 lakhs INR) per annum or 30,000 EUR (26.96 lakhs INR) per annuma (if a job is listed in the restricted list). Students from UK or EU countries do not need to apply for work permit. International students need to apply for either of the following two things:
Stamp 1G- Third Level Graduate Scheme
If international students take up The Third Level Graduate scheme, then they can apply at www.epos.djei.ie. According to the scheme,
- Students can stay up to 24 months after obtaining a degree in a masters or doctoral program
- Undergraduate honors degree holders can stay back for 12 months
- Ordinary degree holder can stay back for 6 months only.
The permission obtained through Stamp 1G cannot be renewed.
Ireland Work Permit- Requirements

To get a work permit, international students must:
- Have PPS Number or GNIB card
- Proficiency in English/ Irish or both
- Higher education qualifications
- Original letter signed by the Irish Universities’ Registrar
