  • The degree program comprises 4 semesters and 120 CP in total.
  • Within the first two semesters the students gain skills in land management sciences, in geospatial engineering sciences and in policy, governance, management and research sciences.
  • In the third semester the students choose one of three areas of concentration (1. Land management skills, 2. Usage of geospatial methods and techniques, and 3. Political and organizational aspects of land and geospatial interventions) enabling students to select combinations of modules based on their specific interests, which also offers a good opportunity for international mobility, and finalize their studies in the fourth semester in writing their master’s thesis.
  • This course is a  combination of knowledge in both land management and geospatial sciences will enable graduates to fill the professional void currently existing.
  • Such professionals connect engineers and architects on the one hand with real estate managers and politicians on the other hand.
  • This bridging activity can support the decision making process on where the physical structures should be and how they are managed. Such professionals will have to deal with both the technical aspects of site planning and spatial planning, land and spatial planning laws and regulations, and make use of management skills in order to reconcile people's needs, power, influence and decisions.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

  • Students should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Applicants with a Degree from Bangladesh, China, India, Iran, or Pakistan will have to submit a GRE (General) Test. Technical University Munich has defined required minimum scores, lower scores will not be accepted. The required scores are:
    • Quantitative reasoning: 157
    • Analytical writing: 3.5
  • Alternatively, students can submit a scorecard of the Indian GATE test (Computer Science, for MSc CSE the Mechanical Engineering Test, will also be accepted). The minimal qualifying score of the respective year is necessary.
  • Applicants with a Degree from Bangladesh, China, India, Iran, or Pakistan will have to submit a GRE (General) Test. Technical University Munich has defined required minimum scores, lower scores will not be accepted!The required scores are:

  • The Institution Code: 7806, Department: 5199 ("all other departments").
    Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.

Sir/madam i am preparing for goethe b1 exam for german language proficiency, but now i am bit confused after seeing the requirements of this course, is DSH exam only accepted for german language proficiency or certificates from goethe are also acceptable?

The Technical University Munich (TUM) accepts both the Goethe Zertifikat B1 and the DSH exam as proof of German language proficiency for their programs.

For applicants from India, China, Pakistan, Egypt, and Bangladesh, the GMAT is required with a minimum score of 640 or a percentile ranking of at least 64.8% on the GMAT Focus edition. However, you can explore the TUM courses to learn more about the curriculum, fees, and other details.

Yes, you need to submit the GRE score. You must have a bachelor’s degree (requiring at least 6 semesters of study) or equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a closely related field might be preferred, or a comparable program at a German or foreign university. English Language Proficiency Score IELTS - 6.5 | TOEFL: 88 | PTE: 65 along with other admissions requirements.
